Mother's Day here today and I had a lovely day - I was invited to lunch at a local Greek restaurant where the champagne flowed and the food kept coming - delicious!!! Had some fab gifts too - Philosophy goodies, a DS Disney game, Rush Hour box set, Cadbury's choccies, a beeootiful bauble from NYC World of Disney store and a bottle of Chocolate Block wine DD and I loved in Jiko last October!!! Wonderful kids...

This will be my first cruise going alone with my DS who will be 12 when we leave. Any other single parents onboard that would want to dine at Palo's for dinner, brunch, tea or all of them??

Marie and DS! There has been talk of trying to do group Palo bookings, so stick around! I'm sure when we get closer to cruise time we'll look in to it further. Also, we are thinking about a group wine tasting, and other fun stuff on board with the Dis group. Unfortunately, we still have over 17 months!!

THey have to see how much they can give one person and change their lives...It is really pretty amazing. But everything Oprah does is that way. She is a great women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Late afternoon soccer game for Jake today and the long, undefeated streak came to an end today.... The game wasn't until 5PM and most of the kids seemed like they were out of it today. Jake's game was way off, too. He had a friend over today and played football.... then street hockey.... lots of running around outside... (he actually got a sunburn on his face today) so by the time his game came around he was gassed...

No worries though - he's only 8... and unlike some other parents, we realize that it's no big deal.
