Too bad I can't just avoid....that would be great. The kids are easy to not tell, it is my DH. He knows something is up, but doesn't know what. He is the hard one!!

You could just surprise your DH on Valentine's Day - maybe buy him some funky swimshorts and put a DCL DVD/brochure inside before wrapping??? This is top-of-my-head stuff so not very inspirational, I'm afraid!!! Then perhaps you could save the surprise for the kids nearer the time???

Hello everyone!!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful Thursday. I have recently booked the Aug. 15, 2009 Cruise to Tortola. Shhhh.....a surprise for my family, they have no idea!!!! I have had so much fun reading through all the advice from these wonderful boards. Thanks for all the great info all you cruisers have. Anywho...looking forward to getting to know you!

Well if need to keep this a secret for long. make sure you get the mail and hide the confirmation envelople from DCL.

I don't have any ideals for Valentine, but easter, you could hide clues in the eggs.

I know!!! I would've loved to hire someone - especially as one of my laydee dogs (I'm thinking Dinah the Dalmatian, she's an awkward mutt) had relieved herself underneath the giant trampoline!!! And there was no way I was crawling under there with a poop bucket and a scooper...

Yeah, isn't it odd that we had all the dialog about trampolines and she failed to mention that she, herself, was actually an owner of a trampoline?! The poop bucket, on the other hand, was something she could have kept to herself though!

It is pretty suspicious that Karen kept her trampoline a secret. Makes me wonder what secret about the trampoline she is hiding!
