Hi Abby, I'm not too bad - tho' still waiting for the anti-b's to kick in and cure me forever!!!

Day started poorly as I had to ensure a poop-free back lawn for the gardeners! Picture the scene: me, grumpy as anything, with a scarf wrapped around my nose and mouth holding the poop bucket at arms length in one hand and scooper in the other whilst I paced the garden detecting droppings!!! I was pretty pleased with myself as I only retched once...

I've just got back from the gym and I'm making lunch...

Good Morning Everyone!

I am sitting here feeling very sick and slightly freaked out right now. When we cruised last year I did a lot of research on what to do in each port. To me the DIS does not have a lot of information on this so I used cruise critic to do my research. In St.Martin a private tour with Beau Robinson "No Rush Tours" seemed to be the thing to do. Everyone posted great reviews, no negatives and he stayed booked. So I contacted him and was very excited to find he had my date open. He was always quick to respond and he seemed very friendly. To make a long story short we ( my sister, Zane, and I ) did end up touring with Beau and we had a great time. He shared a lot of information about the island and the way things worked etc and we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Since the cruise I have not been back to the St.Martin boards since I have no intention of going back anytime soon. Well a couple of days ago someone posted on here about things to do in St.Martin/St.Thomas and I responded with information about Beau. Well thankfully someone else responded and said do not use him and posted a link. Well I checked it out and I am in TOTAL SHOCK There is so much information out there and no one is 100% sure what the truth is but evidentially on Nov 7th it was released that he had suffered a heart attack and died and some man named Bodo Muth has taken over. Turns out Bodo is Beau and he is an EXTREME white supremest etc. If interested in more of the story you can check out cruise critic under the St.Martin boards. So I guess if nothing else I haver learned you can NEVER be too CAREFUL. I am also really worried now about any excursions Zane and I will do, I guess if anything we will book something offered through DCL. I just keep thinking about what could have happened.

That's a shocking story, Tonya and you must feel absolutely horrible! I really don't know what to say - it's just so disgusting that a person like that should gravitate to the Caribbean. I hope the authorities ship him out - tho' goodness knows he could just relocate somewhere else and peddle his crap... Fortunately you, your sister and little Zane remained safe and I guess that's something to hang onto. Stay with DCL excursions, hon - it seems even in paradise, you can't be sure who you're really dealing with...

I know!!! I would've loved to hire someone - especially as one of my laydee dogs (I'm thinking Dinah the Dalmatian, she's an awkward mutt) had relieved herself underneath the giant trampoline!!! And there was no way I was crawling under there with a poop bucket and a scooper...

Good luck, Nikki! Lately I've been tracking airfares from London to Orlando for December as we have the NYE Magic cruise booked for 7 of us and it's turning into a complete nightmare as they're so expensive! I checked it all out for the same dates last year before we booked and the prices were OK - now they seem to have almost doubled and that's pushing it way out of our price range. I honestly think we'll end up canceling as it's proving such a headache. I don't mind for me, DH and my own kids - it's Matty's girlfriend I feel really bad about as she was so looking forward to it...
