Hi everyone! Hope you are all doing well. I've been busy building a canoe to get around in all this rain. At least this isn't snow! Nothing much has been going on here. Just dreaming of some .

Well you know, Karen and those early morning parties

No partying (early or otherwise) for me ever again. I'm extremely depressed as I've just paid seriously good money for a seriously bad comedy haircut!!! All my fault, I'm afraid as I decided it would be "fun" to have a fringe (bangs?) cut in - OMG!!!! Never was a decision so swiftly made and then so long regretted... I look ridiculous and I can only hope the ill-advised fashion faux pas grows out in double quick time!!!

Karen, two things:
1) Your hair doesn't look nearly as bad as you think it does. You just need to get over the shock of the change.
2) It will grow out!

We did our first ever cruise in Jan 08, had a great time and are now hooked

There are 4 of us myself (Kay), DH (Neil), DS (Arran who will be 9) and DD (Iona who will be 4 - almost 5)

We live in California (San Jose) but are from the UK originally - well us 2 adults are, the kids were born here.

Look forward to getting to know you all over the next 16 months! From the few pages that I have read (sorry there is nooooo way that I will be able to read all the past posts ) you seem like a totally mad (in a nice way) bunch - just my kind of poeple!

well i basically fell asleep on the bus ride home from school. im getting over my cold. so i feel better now. i had a good 2 hour sleep before when i got home so im all good. the weather her is disgusting. its cold and rainy and windy. MY EASTER VACATION HAS BEGUN!!! im going into NYC on friday to take a dance class with my older sister at Broadway Dance Center. then her and i are going out to eat and hopfully shopping!!! im excited!!!! and i will obviously go into the disney store. LOL

You can almost breathe a sigh of relief...........bangs seem to grow faster than the rest of hair. I have to trim mine at least once a month while the rest of my hair seems to be at the same length as it was 6 months ago. Don't sweat it! You never know how something will look until you try. I've been stuck in the same hair rut for the last 1 1/2 years. Time for a change.

Hi Kay!! (and family!) I am Abby (36 by cruise time), my DH is Dave (45 by cruise time) and then there is my DS who will be 9 at cruise time and DD who will be 7. My DS will be totally excited that there's another boy his age! And we've got lots of girls in the 5'ish to 7 age range in this group already. Glad to have you on the board!

Thanks! It was a spur of the moment decision as I'm always eager for change and most times it works well! I've managed to clip it off my forehead and I'll hopefully be able to style it accordingly...
