Weather yuk and rainy here today - so bad the OES refuses to go out in the garden tho' the Dalmatian is a nuisance and happy to get muddy so I've had to shut her in the conservatory...

Not wishing to rub it in, but I'm so looking forward to going to Barbados 4 weeks from today...

You aren't rubbing it in! We may get away for a couple of days in July but other than that, this 2009 cruise is our next vacation, so I shall live vicariously through you!

Today is my MIL's birthday and also one of my grandfathers was born on this day.

There is no hope for me! He is attractive but you have to question his taste in women! I wouldn't think broody/pouty would be a feature that men would desire. If it is then I know what my problem has been all these years!

The consensus amongst the UK Gay community is that he bats for the other side - even if he doesn't, he's certainly happy to promote himself in a ****-erotic fashion, as per this ad. If that's true, you have to feel sorry for old madam misery guts... Makes sense why he's friends with Tom Cruise tho'... OMG did I really say that???!!! Just better insert a great big ALLEGEDLY in this entire post...

She is doing better. She woke up sick again but is back to her normal self. She has an appt Monday with a pediatric neurologist. I am not holding my breath that we'll get any answers but it's better to make sure.

Kristin, Gwynne's flip-flops came in Wed. She was thrilled! I let her wear them around the house yesterday.

Tomorrow, I'm going to see my brother who does bat for the other team. If I think about it I'll ask his opinion on David and Tom!

We-ell I bought shedloads of Elemis products (both DH and I use this), a little Models Prefer make-up and some items of fashion jewellery by Butler & Wilson which is a London designer brand... It was fab and I loved every flippin' minute even if my credit card didn't...

Abby, im glad to hear that Gwynne is getting better well im on for a short amount of time because im going to see a Ballet, Romeo and Juliet, as a project for my 2nd High School. i hope everyone is doing well. the weather is cold and posible snow storm nd rain tonight i hate the cold,i hate the snow LOL but i do love the spring and the summer cause i love the warm/hot weather. im watching the Disney Cruise on the travel channel right now as im getting ready LOL. im so excited for this cruise!!!!

The funeral tomorrow will be my first real funeral. I'm not sure what to expect. Tomorrow afternoon my in-laws are taking the kids to see Nemo on Ice. Then we are all meeting at Olive Garden for dinner to celebrate my MIL's birthday. Other than that we aren't doing anything.

DH saw the surgeon today, who told him due to the nature of his job, he will be off work for 6 weeks. Thank goodness he has about 18 weeks of sick time!! I'm going to try to schedule my surgery 5 weeks in to his recovery, that way he won't have to take additional time off for me.

That would work out well since by then he would be able to start helping you during your recovery but the hard part is that you will not be able to lift anything as will he for about six weeks. You'll both be able to just let the laundry pile up..LOL!!!!!!!!!!

I'm doing fine. Tired but that's always the case for parents with sick kids! As I was telling someone at work today, things could ALWAYS be worse. We are doing fine. Right now I am seriously dreading tomorrow though. My dad was saying today that my cousin, aunt, and the rest of the immediate family are absolutely devastated. So I cannot even imagine the emotions that will be going on tomorrow. At my grandfather's viewing in '05 it was weird. Everyone was mingling, laughing, it was a very lively crowd. That was my first real experience with a viewing. But they had the funeral in MI so I didn't go. Sorry to keep babbling about this.
