Hopefully everyone will start feeling better soon.... need to kick things up a few notches around here!

I know it really stinks that everyone has been sick. I think we need warmer weather soon!!!!!!!!!!

Well, my addition is looking good. They have most of the siding up. The plumber is doing the plumbing @ the end of the week or Monday. We actually got our garage back today too!!!!!!

They,, are predicting school delays for tomorrow morning!!!!!!!!

I haven't even checked to see what's in store for us tomorrow.... I was engrossed with work all day...hit the gym... and then had to run DS to swim practice tonight....

I had to present to a large group today, including senior-level management of my own organization. I'm a pretty good public speaker, but it's still a tension-builder. I've seen surveys where people fear death less than they do public speaking!!

Sounds like things are moving along quite well. I guess having the work done during the winter, the contractor's slow season I assume, helped?

Glad, your presentation went well. I commend you for being able to do that. I can teach a classroom of kids but never do that.. I always wonder how Bruce can go to these huge conferences and present and never get nervous. The only time he "chocked" was we were at reconizition conference and Bruce was presenting to the top of the council agents and I was out in the hallway chit chatting and some co-workers were talking how he never gets nervous they dared me to walk in and sit in the back of his presentation. He was fine till he made eye contact with me and realized I was sitting there. He stuttered a few times and started to look nervous. I quickly left. After, he was finished he said I had made him more nervous than anyone ever. Funny, but I would never do it again to him.. Not like I even understood what he was talking about...

We orginally told him we were just getting prices and wanted to wait till the spring to have it started. Well, he gave us a much better price to have it done in the winter. Since his men would most likely be unemployed if they did not have such a big job like this..Now, looking back we are glad that we are doing it now so come spring we can have it hydroseeded before the pool opens. We would have had such a time using the pool with the pool area being such a mess. All, of that mud would have been in the pool...UGH!!!!!!!!!!!! Much, easier to take the mess now than when we would be hanging out in the back all summer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the owner wanted them to be a bit further along than they are but a few weather clitches have slowed it down a bit. I went down to my neighbors house yesterday afternoon and it was weird to see how my house looks from her house now. Very Different....But looks, great!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to finalize my cabinet colors, etc. for the bathroom and counter top today!!!!!!!!

Bruce, just woke up from his "nap" and got up put a pair of shorts, he had sweats on before I asked him where he was going he said to play the WII!!!!!!!!!

I can't BELIEVE how quickly this is moving along, Kristin!!! In the UK an addition/extension takes months!!! It took 3 months to re-model my kitchen and 5 months for the conservatory to be built, so goodness knows how long it'll take to knock down the garage and rebuild it as a two storey addition and add a single storey dining room...
