We have an 8:10am reservation at Crystal Palace for a day with a 9am park opening at Magic Kingdom. Do you think we'll be done in time to be out the door no later than 9?

Probably. If you sit down and go to the buffet right away you should be fine. I'd ask for the check when you order drinks so you can settle up when you want to. You might not see all the characters though. It depends how fast they circulate around the restaurant.

We had an 8:15 CO ADR on a 9:00 opening day in February. We were seated right on time but had to wait for all the characters (seeing them was a priority for DS). We took our time and were done around 9:15. It was fine for us because it wasn't our only MK day. If we had hurried through our meal and been willing to miss a character or two, we would've been done by 9:00.

We had an 8:05am Sunday Labor Day weekend. We were on the 6:30am bus from AKL and were one of the first ones at MK at about 7:05am. We were the 2nd group to check in at CP and were seated right at 8am. We sat on the right side just as you walk in. The characters came out on the right side first and we saw all 4 and were done by 8:45am without rushing. It is important to be there early. Get in with the first wave and settle up the check before it get busy. I do not know if the characters always start on the right side but if someone else can confirm then I would ask to be seated on the right side as close to the buffet as possible. I hope that helps. Have fun!!

We had a table on the left side for our 8:10 ADR last trip. We saw all characters and enjoyed our breakfast without a rush. I believe we were done about 9am. I cannot be certain, though, as we were not hurrying for Fastpass times or rope drop. I believe Tikiman is correct with the character start order, too. At least, as far as I can recall.

I wouldnt bet on it. We had an 815, I believe. We had to wait a little while. We left shortly after the last character and it was already after 9. It was worth it, though.

Yep, we did exactly that last Thursday with an 8:10. I asked for the check from our server right away, took care of that including tip. We had photos with most characters, I think we only missed Eeyore, it was just DH and I so we weren't concerned about that much anyway. We enjoyed our breakfast without feeling rushed and were among the first to ride Splash Mountain.

I had both 805 and 810 ADR a few times....and for both, I was always out the door well before 9am. Keep in mind for both ADR times I may have missed one character, maybe two, tops. I've always asked for the bill after placing drink orders so that im able to bolt whenever I wanted to. It all depends on if you want to see all the characters or not.

If your priority is seeing every character, I wouldn't count on being out by 9. It all depends on the pace of the breakfast, pictures and autographs that families want with the characters, etc. If you're trying to eat, meet a select number of characters, and be out by 9, it is possible, but attempting to see every character is time consuming.

You should be. I would try to check in as close to 8am as possible (you should be let through the gate at 7:45). When you're part of the first seating of the day, you go through the characters faster because you're getting them all as they come out for their first shift before the restaurant is full. You will probably have all the characters to your table by about 8:30, that's been my experience. Another tip would be to ask your server to settle your bill after you order your drinks and get that out of the way, that can save a few minutes at the end of your meal.

That was exactly our recent experience. All the characters circulated quickly while there were a lot of empty tables. Key is to get checked in as early as possible. If it weren't for Piglet hitting the left dining room first we would have been done by 8:30. HahaIMG_2137.JPG

If you're shooting for rope drop, just keep in mind that it's actually between 8:45-8:50. So, if you don't finish until 9:00, you'll be around 15 minutes behind the crowds. You need to try and finish by 8:45 if you want to be ahead of the crowds.
