Hi all! I was online before the sun came up this morning to snag a BOG breakfast reservation. Our goal is really to be in the park as early as possible to get a jump on rides. I didn't snag an 8:05 reservation (which I gather is the earliest possible) but got an 8:10. I know we're talking a matter of minutes here! (But since the aim is maximizing park time.....) if we show up as early as they let us in, will BOG really hold off on seating us? I guess I'm asking, is there any real difference between an 8:05 or 8:10 (or 8:25 for that matter), since there aren't any diners before you at those times? Thanks for helping me parse the minutiae of Disney planning!

Just a friendly heads up: There have been varying reports of late of what MK allows PPO diners to do. Some have been allowed onto 7DMT before official park opening; some have been allowed into the line, but no rides until official opening; some have been held closer to BoG and only allowed to head toward any attraction right at official opening. You may want to moderate your expectations of getting a jump on rides in light of this inconsistent experiences.

You will be let in. Make sure to preorder. If you don't, even if you are first in line, you will be behind everyone that preorders. Line up at the MK gates on the left well before 8. 7:30-7:45 works ok. If you preorder you are let in first and then served while most everyone else is still in line ordering. This July we went twice and both times 7dmt was opened by 8:45 and we were able to ride (could've gone twice but didn't). The only rode accessible (and not guaranteed, mind you) is 7dmt. Everything else is blocked and you will be held in an area just outside the restaurant. You will not be able to enter any line other than 7dmt nor will you be allowed to start a line outside an attraction.

You also want to book BOG on a day there is not a Fantasyland early morning magic party. Mine Ride starts running at 7:45 for the people attending the party. Will make for at least some line and wait even at 9.

We were also let in as soon as we arrived at 8 for an 8:30 ADR, so as PPs said get to the park gates early and go to the turnstiles for PPO ADRs. We even grabbed a quick low-crowd castle picture on our way to breakfast. If you get to BOG right around 8, you should be seated right away. Definitely pre-order, and make sure that the park opens at 9 a.m. and it's not an Early Morning Magic day. We were able to get a couple of rides on on 7DMT before the crowds got out of control.

Have fun!

To add to my response, in May we were allowed into line at about 8:50 but they did not load the first train until 9:00. We got one ride with basically a 10 min wait. RD crowd had arrived before we got off.
