8:00 ADR when park opens at 9:00

We have 8:00-8:30 ADR's for each morning of our trip. If the park opens at 9, will the Fast Passes be available before we check in with the restaurant? Or do we wait until we're doing with our meal? I'm worried that the more popular rides FP's will be taken by then.

Usually when I have ADR's before the park is open, the Fastpasses are not open yet as you can not go "into" the parks. The only time it might be opened is if there is the extra magic hours in the morning but even then...

You really can't get too far off the path between the gate you are going in and the restaurant you are going to. You can get some nice pictures of the castle, SSE, the Tree of Life and the hat, without a lot of people in the way, but besides that there isn't too much else you can do. If you are finished with your meal before RD, they will usually have you wait either at the restaurant or some other area until the crowd from RD reaches you, so you really don't get a chance to get too much of a jump on anyone.

If your ADR is early, say 8 to 8:15, you'll likely be done before RP and will go to an internal rope drop. The only one I would worry about at all is DHS, where there's such a rush for TSMM that you may have a slight disadvantage. The fastpass machines will not be on if you could get to them until park opening.

If the park does not open til 9, you cannot get FP's until then. You will have to get them after you finish your meal.

The only FP attraction I would be worried about is TSM at DHS. Anything other attractions will still have plenty of FP's at a decent return time if you don't get them until 9:30-10.

I think you will still be able to get TSM FP's at 9:30. You will just have a late afternoon return time.

And if your meal is at H&V at DHS, There is a rope that will prevent you from getting deeper into the Park until everyone else is allowed. And you will be directed to where you can joun th e Running Of The Bulls!

Ans at all Parks youy are restricted to use the most direct path from the Gate to the Restaurant. And the Fastpass Machines automatically get turned on at Park Opening.
