I've been thinking about you this weekend Mandy. Hope you are having a fantastic time so far.

It was a very nice weekend here weatherwise. We got outside and got some yard work done. Took Rick's parents out for dinner on Saturday night, had friends over for a barbecue on Sunday.

Hey Girls

We landed back in the UK on Saturday after an amazing holiday. The Fantasy was gorgeous, we had such a great time on her

Hey Mandy. Glad to hear that you had an amazing holiday. I'm looking forward to reading your trip report.

Not much news here. Busy as usual. The weather has been fantastic. It is dance recital time of year again, so I've been busy with those practices. Went to renew my passport today since it expires in mid June.

Lots of things happening but nothing that is real exciting.

It's the same here for us, busy with nothing really special involved.

Well I DID start a horse riding class that was offered thru the adult learning program. I know how to ride of course, but it gives me 90 mins on a good horse, for half of what it would cost to rent a mediocre horse for 60 mins. crazy I know, but ok!
Another plus is my instructor was in my eldest sons class in high school, so I know her, and my friend goes too. It makes for a fun Wed. morning
As a matter of fact I have to get my butt moving soon to get ready. :eek:

Oh and I guess my new article being published is pretty special :goodvibes

Hey Girls

How are you all keeping ? I hope everyone is well ::yes::

All is quiet here at the moment, the girls are finishing college and looking forward to their holidays (they're going to Lanzarote for 4 days in July, then in August they're going to Disneyland for 4 days followed by 6 days in Hollywood, they can't wait)

Paul & I haven't got any plans at the moment, he has just started a new job, so he will need to settle in for a few months

How are your cruise plans coming along ? Tell me all about it, are you planning on going to Palo ?

It's a shame my trip report has now finished, it was fun reliving it

Any plans for the weekend ? I don't think we'll be up to much as it's going to be a very wet one

Where is Lanzarote, Mandy? Disneyland sounds like fun. What are they going to do in Hollywood for all of that time?

I've finally got all my cruise plans in place. Now I'm good to go. Yes we are going to do a Palo brunch. It's going to be me, Rick, my mom, Betsy, Mike and Ann. We are all going to enjoy that. We will think of you while we are there :thumbsup2

We were without electricity for almost 8 hours last night. It went out during a pretty major thunderstorm. I called the company after 5 hours to see what was going on and they told me that the power had been restored to my house :confused3

Was news to us since we were still sitting in the dark :lmao:

Finally came back on about 3 hours later......almost 2am. But now it is morning and the sun is shining and it looks beautiful outside :goodvibes

Rick is gone for the weekend to a model airplane event and my mom and I have plans for today and tomorrow. Don't know what Sunday will hold yet but I'm sure that we can fill it.

Lanzarote is one of the Canary Islands, they can't wait to get some sun, I will miss them even if it's for only 4 days

In Hollywood they're doing some studio tours, going to Santa Monica, Six Flags, Universal and a Dodgers baseball game, and of course some shopping for Kerry :rotfl2:

You all must be so excited about the Cruise, I love Palo :love:

The weather here this last weekend was wonderful :sunny:

...I am feeling a sorry and a bit worried for Ann and others in the panhandle. Florida is getting hammered with the TS Debby. We have rain in the forecast for today, but that's OK...I don't have to water my garden now!

I pray it will be just beautiful when we are there is Aug.
We cant wait for Palo, and the rest of the cruise... it should be so much fun...We will all miss you Mandy and I wish you were coming!

Today I have to make some res.'s for some sit-downs at WDW for the week before.
I'd like to try a some new places, so we are going to the Japanese place, and the new mexican place, and the new Italian places...I am looking forward to checking out the wine bar in Italy especially! :thumbsup2

It's gonna be just us again, so another pleasurably relaxed trip. I am a bit disappointed that we will have no mini meets in the world this trip, but we will be seeing everyone on the ship so all's good. :goodvibes
