 Happy Saturday Dancing Queens

I hope you're all having a lovely weekend, what have you got planned ? anything nice ? We're having a very quiet weekend

Still no news on the cruise, Paul has till Monday to pay off the balance, hopefully I'll have some news for you soon :surfweb:

Have a nice weekend everyone ::yes::

Nothing exciting happening here this weekend.

The weather has switched overnight from spring to winter again:sad2:

I hope all goes well with your cruise plans Mandy. :wizard:

:dance3: Hey Dancing Queens

I hope you're enjoying what's left of your weekend. Mine is nearly finished, and I'll be off to bed shortly, but I just wanted to let you know that Paul has paid off the balance on that May cruise, and all being well, we are now going. We even managed to book Palo Brunch and Dinner, and hopefully we'll get High Tea once we board :)

:yay: Anyway, good night girls, I just had to come on and let you know my good news :yay:

Great news Mandy!
I'm sure you will have a blast, Its a Disney cruise, who wouldn't? Right?

Well I am back from my trip. It was fun, but I wouldn't go to KC for a vacation...Its just a big dirty city, as are all big cities...I did have a good time checking out all the stores, and the Hallmark visitors center. The Union Station (blt. in the 1870s) was very nice, with the old ceilings, and chandeliers. They also had a great model train display there. I have pics, Ill try to post ASAP.
The meals were great, but I ate a LOT of beef last week, as KC is known for their beef Barbeque's. I am normally a veggie, or a chicken eater, But I DO like an occasional steak. I have had my share for the year now tho...LOL

Well I am now back in the very snowy Northeast...YEA:sad2:

Have a great day ladies:wizard:

How are you all ? I hope you have had a good week :)

Have you got any plans for the weekend ? Are you doing anything nice ? For the 2nd weekend in a row we haven't got any plans. Shortly Paul & I will head out to the wine bar for a couple of drinks and our usual Friday night catch up, but other than that, I think we will just be chilling

Have a lovely weekend girls, whatever you're up to ::yes::

Nothing special planned here for the weekend either.

I think I'll just take it as it comes. Maybe something exciting will come along?

Hopefully no more snow:headache:

OMG!!!!

There is SUN:sunny: shining outside my window....:cool1:

Have you got anything nice planned for the weekend ? I've just got zumba tonight, then tomorrow night Paul & I are heading to Solihull for an evening out, and hopefully a few TGI's cocktails ::yes::

Have a lovely weekend girls, whatever you're up to :)

Hey Mandy,
I am working today, but tomorrow I am excited to say I have the day off and have been invited to go on a limo/wine tasting day. :cool1:
My friends husband is surprising her with it for her 50th...He has arranged for the limo to pick her and a few of her friends up and take us around The Lake Cayuga wine trail....for the day 10 AM, until after 5PM...
...I have never been in a limo, except for Mikes dads funeral, which I wasn't really enjoying much, considering the circumstances.Tomorrow should be a lot more fun!
Then the normal Sunday with my DGGs, a visit to my Mom, and taking them all to McDonalds for lunch( my moms favorite).
I also have Monday off, but Im not sure what Im doing...We will just have to see what exciting things pop up...:rolleyes1...I'm thinking it will be "cleaning, and laundry:laundy:, and ...well you all have the idea!

Robin, we have sunshine here today, and it is suppose to be in the upper 40s tomorrow, But its also suppose to rain later in the day...Oh well I dont have to do the driving so.....;)..Im ok with it!

Well off to do some surfing:surfweb:

I purchased a dress yesterday for Alex's wedding.

It is quite simple and definitely was NOT cheap :scared1: But everybody seemed to think it looked good on me.

It is something that I can wear to any other function that I might have in the future. That is assuming that I never gain another ounce because the dress fits that closely.

Here is the link to it:

Click on any picture and go to picture 7. My dress is the one with the black top and patterned bottom.

What do you think?

If you look at the bottom, you will find the real deal clincher ;) There are hidden Mickey's all over the bottom of the dress :rotfl2:

Hey Girls, I hope you're all having a lovely weekend

Betsy, I hope you enjoyed your limo/wine tasting day ::yes:: Now that sounds like my kind of fun day out. Did you take some photos ? I hope so

Robin, am I reading right ? You're buying a dress ? Sorry, I'm only teasing, the dress is lovely, and it's perfect for any kind of occassion

Paul & I had a lovely night away last night, we just had dinner and a few cocktails at TGI's :)

:lmao: Yeah, I know.

I am so NOT a dress person but sometimes ya gotta do what ya gotta do:confused3 :rotfl:

The wine tasting was a lot of fun...
We lucked out and didn't get any rain:teeth:and our driver was very nice.
I have to say I liked the limo more then the wine tasting...Dont get me wrong the wine was fine :goodvibes...but Ive gone to tastings before, I have never gone in a limo before, and this limo was a big white stretch Cadillac ...soooo cool:cool2:...We had a great time there was four of us. Joan's hubby made sure we had wine and munchies in the limo, and we didn't even notice that we had to go 1 1/2 hours to get there and back....I do have pictures. I'll post them as soon as I get them off my camera.:thumbsup2

I am snowed in today we woke up to 20+ more inches of snow...(past the bottom of my front door)and a lot of wind ...so some drifts are up to 3 feet...:scared1:
Mike is working from home today too....:santa:

Have a great day ladies:wave:

TTFNpaw:

Betsy, enjoy your snow day. Well as much as one can enjoy a snow day at this time of the year:headache:

What I really want is to be able to sit outside on my deck and enjoy some warmth and sunshine. Unfortunately not likely to be doing that for quite some time still.

I would love to see your pictures from the weekend.

 Mandy. What's happening this week?
