Kelly, how are you feeling??

I have some very exciting news to share but I have to keep it to myself for a bit or Betsy, you can't say anything over on the threadkillers thread, Okay??

Cause I just have to tell someone or I'll burst

Here it is:

I just booked Rick and I on the Disney Magic sailing that is leaving this Saturday

I can't believe we did this. So unlike us to jump into something at the last minute like this but there you have it.

I booked a Category 12 but there are cabins in every category available right now. Shouldn't they just bump us right up to Category 4 then?? Dream on, I know.

Betsy, Ann and Tom are on this ship too and I have sent her an email "warning" her that we are also going too now.

I have no expectations of spending time with them but I wanted her to know before I announced it to everyone.

So shhhhhh, no telling over there until I hear back from Ann.



EDITED TO ADD: Betsy, it's okay because Ann knows now.

Oh how exciting Robin, you lucky girl ... and Betsy, when did you book to go on the Disney Magic ? I am so jealous, I wish I was sailing with some of the Bahama Mama's again

So, is it an Eastern or Western Cruise ? Where will you be Cruising to ?

Mandy, Betsy is not going with us unfortunately.

I just didn't want her to go on the threadkillers thread and say anything until I told Ann that we were booked on her ship.

I never told Ann before I booked it that we were even thinking about it.

So, I didn't want her being upset by finding out from someone else before I told her.

It is a western cruise.

It goes from Port Canaveral to Key West, then a day at sea, Grand Cayman, Cozumel, a day at sea and then to Castaway Cay and back to Port Canaveral.

We have absolutely no plans other than getting down there and boarding the ship on Saturday

Everything else we will take as it comes.

NOW, I've got very little time to get things organized here at home and to get ready to leave on Friday afternoon.

But hopefully the Disney Magic and some sunshine will make all the rush worthwhile in the end.

LOL, the way I read it, was that all 3 of them were on the Cruise ~ this is what happens when I post 5 minutes after getting up

How exciting Robin, it's great when you can arrange a last minute vacation like this. Your Cruise sounds fantastic, I can't wait to hear all about it

Well you dont have to worry about me spilling the beans, as I just now read about it....CONGRATS!

Mike was home yesterday, so I was busy running around with him...

Im sure you and Ann, and DHs will have a blast ...I am very jealous...

Too bad we cant go..BUT in 7 + months(as long as things go OK with Mikes work)..Ill be at my dream vaca destination.. ...I can wait....I CAN wait....
Ill just have to live thru, your (Mandy, Kelly AND now Robin) TRs, and Pics...

I have a ton of cleaning to do as I didnt get anything done yesterday...

Ill be popping in and out today, in between loads...

Robin ~ I bet you're really busy getting yourself organised for your Cruise on Saturday. Where are you staying Friday night ? Have you started packing yet. I'm so jealous, I'm looking forward to the day we can sail on the Magic

Betsy ~ I know you're looking forward to Hawaii, but are you starting to think about 2010 vacations yet ? Stay warm and think about lazing on a Hawaiian beach with a wonderful cocktail in your hand

All is quiet over here. We haven't been up to much. The next exciting thing happening around here is Kerry's 18th birthday on the 31st. We're planning going for a meal with some of her friends at our fave Chinese all you can eat buffet that night

I've been trying to get some things organized but I haven't started to pack anything yet.

I have no idea where we are staying Friday night yet because I haven't booked it

That is the last thing that I have to book before we leave.

We have a cabin number now. We were upgraded from a Category 12 to a Category 10. So now oceanview for us. No Walt Disney Suite for us

Ah well, I'm not going to complain because at least I will be on the ship

Hey there Mandy.

Yes I have sailed on the Magic once.

But it was not a 7 day cruise, it was a four or maybe 5 day cruise.

It was a "repositioning" cruise to get it back into proper order after doing some longer cruises during the Christmas holidays.

That was in Janury of 2005.

Gonna try and find time to read your next installments tonight.
