Lol! That's a good question! I'm just learning all of this... he says he hoping for a flawless hat trick... I've gotta look that one up

As for my Hawaiian obsession....
I am planing on a small Hawaiian themed party, in a few months when everyone is starting to get sick of the cold weather...
Just a few friends, I'll make mai tai's, and serve some pulled pork instead the pig roast..and I thought Id try pineapple bread too...
Dress the place up, and give everyone lei's( I have a ton of them from the poly! )...
Maybe sometime in late Oct. early Nov.

Yummy... your menu sounds deeee-lish!! You ought to look at Oriental Trading, we bought grass skirts and coconut bras for our company Christmas dinner. I had the guys do a relay dressed up... it was so funny watching them do the hula in the skirts and bras! (CW really got into it)

I played catch up yesterday here at the office. One of the girls is on vacation and I'm trying to do her work for her so it doesn't pile up on her too bad. Boy... does she owe me a drink or two... or three!

Then we got a van load of people together and went out for dinner with a friend.

3 days left now! The storm you were worried about looks like it'll be knocking on Bermuda's door tomorrow. Hopefully we'll just get a wee bit of rain from it.

We are getting hit with our first "noreaster". The kids woke up hoping they would cancel school due to high winds and minor flooding... but no such luck!

Glad to be indoors today, as I look out my window... the rain is coming down hard, the roads are flooding, and the trees are swaying in the wind.

I'm sitting here waiting for my friend to come round and then Paul is dropping us at the railway station as we're off for our Girly Weekend to Cardiff. We're all so excited

Yes the weather here has been great but next week the temps are going to drop to the 60's.

We are leaving tomorrow around 2pm. Our flight leaves out of Detroit at 6:20pm so we want to get something to eat before we leave.

Also we are flying out of a newly opened terminal (Sept 17), so we are not familiar with it, so need to leave a few extra minutes just in case.

We are going to eat at the terminal which supposedly has a TGIFriday's and Ruby Tuesday.

They are both past the security check points, so I like the idea of being there and enjoying my meal instead of worrying about getting to the airport on time.

We had alot of rain on Saturday so our soccer game was canceled... That messed up my plans for shopping so I had to spend Sunday at the mall looking for Carolin's gifts. It's been a long time since I shopped on my own. Very peaceful I must say!

Guess what girls, Kerry has got a little job. Both her and her best friend Bex (who is coming on holiday with us in December) had an interview at our local bowling alley, and they both got the jobs. They both have an induction evening tomorrow night, then Kerry starts Friday evening and Bex starts on Saturday. Kerry will be helping with kiddies parties and Bex is working in the kitchen

Sorry I have been MIA alot lately..

Mike has been taking Mondays off....His job has new management, and its now mandatory to use all his vaca day befor the end of the year, and he has alot he hasnt used...He also has put in for a week off at Thanksgiving time, and a week at Christmas time...the co. is shutting down completely for a week at Christmas, so that gives Mike two weeks off for the christmas time...
Too bad we cant go anywhere, but thats OK....It will be nice just to spend the time with Mike...even home!

The foyer is all tiled and very pretty if I do say so myself....
All we need now is to put in the base boards....Ill try to get a pic for you all ASAP....

I dont shop as often as I use to, but when I do I shop my myself. Its the only way I can take my time to find what I want...If I go with someone else I always feel like Im holding them up and they are having to wait for me....
If Im alone I can take my time and shop where I want to shop, with no gilt....
Didja get anything excitingon your shopping trip?...

Im going to get my hair cut and colored today...Im not sure if Ill get my normal highlights or do the whole head....The highlights give me more time between jobs, but it has gotten to the point where its not covering all my grays ...but if I do the whole head color...Im going to have to go back alot sooner to redo... ..
I was also thinking of getting a shorter cut, but I think Ill keep my long hair for now...too chicken for the shorter...

Well I have a condo lined up in Hana, Maui..I have talked to the owners and looked at all the pictures...and as soon as I get them the deposit..Ill have it reserved for threes nights...It looks like my dates are going to be..the 21stof Sept.(Robins birthday )-the 1st of Oct.
We will get our flight to Maui on Sept 21stFind a place to stay for one night close to the airport, then drive to Hana, on the east side of Maui....Stay in Hana the 22nd-25th then stay on the west side of Maui, at the kaanapali Beach Hotel(I still have to reserve here)for the last 6 nights....

I am so worried about getting a good price on flights..I havent booked an airline flight for myself since 1989, when I had to go to Fla. because my dad was in the hosp...This is when he died...So I took what I got at the time...I remember I paid 600.00 for a round trip ticket.
any advice on finding good deals?...
