I know it was the best thing to do but right now it just doesn't feel that way.

We ended up not staying with him at the end.

It was Alex and I and neither one of us could do it

I feel bad for that and I thought I would be stronger than that but it was hard enough just having to take him there.

Aww Robin, at least he's not suffering any more - and that's the kindest thing you could do. When I took Sammie to the vets, I was on my own, and it was the hardest thing I have ever had to do in my life

Poor Liz, she had to go to work right at the time that we took Subway in to the vet.

She said she cried for the first hour and a half of her shift at McDonald's.

She said the manager came up to her and asked her if she was okay and she explained about the cat.

The manager was very nice and made sure she worked in an area that she didn't have a lot of contact with customers if she didn't want to (she worked drivethru window, sometimes they run two lines and she was on the second line). She was also told if she needed a break to sit for a bit that she could.

It's kinda funny but I think I've cried more over this cat than I did combined when for both of my grandmothers

Of course I never lived with either of them for 16 years

I've had a lazy day today Robin I had a bit of a lie-in, DISed all morning and didn't get changed till nearly lunch-time (shocking) and we've just been to see Paul's elderly aunt. We may have a chinese takeaway for tea, and then it will be an evening of DISing and watching TV (I do love weekends )

I'm not really that fond of Chinese food at all.

I certainly would not seek it out for myself.

No one else in my house really eats it much either.

I ended up going to WalMart for a bit with Liz this afternoon.

Now I really feel like I could use a nap.

Yes we had a lovely Chinese, Paul & I had a chicken curry and it was very nice

I wish I could say that I enjoyed my nap but I never had one

I still feel like I need it though.

I haven't decided yet what to eat tonight?

I just bought food yesterday so I'm sure that I should be able to find something to eat.

Hey Robin, have you downloaded any of your photos yet ? I know you've had a rotten time since you got back, with your tooth and your cat, but I'd love to know how you all got on. Did your friends enjoy it ? Was the weather good ? Did you do anything that you hadn't done before ? - cor aren't I nosy ? When do you think you'll do your next Cruise ?

I promise that I try to get to them as soon as I can get motivated

Now that's a pretty vague promise isn't it

It's very very very windy and bitter cold here today, so I probably won't be venturing outside very far today.

Hello girls,

Im sorry I havent been on alot lately...
It was a busy weekend....
My son and the twins have a Birthday tomorrow...and Mike and I spent the weekend shopping for them....

We did get to check out a few NEW stores though...I LOVE NEW stores...

One is called the christmas tree shop..but it didnt have ANY christmas stuff...LOL....It DID have alot of cool things for very good prices...

Then right next door was a brand new PetCO...Very nice!...

So Sorry to read about Subway, Robin....
I KNOW how much that just does ya in....Its soooo hard to make that decision....But You did right...It was time...

Im gonna go try to catch up on the TKer thread....BOY...I have ALOT to read....

Well it's half term over here, so the girls are off school/college for a week. I'm still going to my mums most days to take her shopping etc. but I won't feel so rushed this week

It was .06 degrees this morning when I got up....

Nothing planned for today...The girls have school and Doug has work...
Doug took the girls out for the day yesterday,..Birthday shopping....I think its a GREAT idea...The three of them go out for there collective Birthdays...
