He got a soccer jersey, soccer practice shorts, a Wii game, money... He's really gotten into reading the Civil War history books so DM & DD got him book =)

We are in the middle of freezing rain right now

Betsy, the wet carpet in the basement is far away from the new furniture

Mandy I love, love, love nice warm/hot weather. I think I should have been born in the tropics

Betsy, Subway is still hanging in there. He seems to be happy enough. He's eating and drinking and occasionally going outside for a little stroll around. I don't let him stay out long though because with his bad back leg (which seems mainly paralysed) he has no defence against any attacks.

Nothing special Robin. I took my mum shopping this morning, did a bit of tidying up and the girls will be home from school/college in the next hour

Just a boring day today

My friend Natalie (who I met through the DIS) is coming over tomorrow, so we should have a good laugh and gossip

I've not got anything planned for the weekend. We've had such busy weekends recently with the Spice Girls concerts, Kerry's birthday and going away last weekend - that I'm looking forward to a lie-in and just chilling while watching the TV and DISing

I've not been doing a whole lot today.

Just hanging around the house mainly, trying to get some ambition gathered together

There's snow on the ground and I just can't make myself go outside for some reason.

I skipped dance class this morning and I don't feel motivated to go tonight either

We need food really badly but I don't want to do that either.

Oh well, I guess there is always tomorrow

No plans for the weekend yet.

My friend Natalie came over this morning - I love it when she comes over, so we can talk about Disney over a cup of tea

No other plans for today, except dropping the girls back at school and college after lunch

Friday is my grocery shopping day too. I went to Asda (which is owned by Wal-Mart) early this morning, and Nat came over mid-morning. We had a good chat - she's lots of fun, and there's nothing like chatting about Disney with your friends

I've just dropped the girls back to school/college, and I'm going to enjoy the next hour or so DISing until they get home

He's still not done with receiving presents... We celebrate with my side of the family by combining whoever has a birthday that month together. So we'll get together with Paula next week

I've been eyeing things... I need to get a cocktail dress for the formal night, CW is renting a tux onboard! Having a hard time finding the right dress

Kelly, there's only two kinds of shopping that I like to do, and that's Christmas shopping and holiday/cruise shopping - I hope you find a nice cocktail dress soon

Not a very happy house here right now.

We have made the decision that Subway's time on this earth has come to an end.

He still is eating and drinking and purring but he can hardly walk anymore.

He also is having trouble with the litter box because he can't hold his rear end up very high.

It's kinda hard to pee and poop when you are sitting in the litter box.

His quality of life is not good and it's not really going to get anybetter.

It's a really tough decision to make and even harder to make that trip.



I really need to stop crying because I have to take him for his final car ride soon. He hates car rides.

Oh Robin, I can so understand how you feel. When we had to have our beloved dog put to sleep, she was only able to pee by lying down, and it was awful to see her in such a state. It was a horrible decision to have to make, but we couldn't just watch her suffering, especially as she had brought us so much joy for 13 years
