Happy Polling Day Betsy & Kelly ~ I am so glad that the President will finally be announced soon ~ as it feels like they've been talking about it for years though I'm still a bit disappointed that Hilary won't be the first female president

I feel like it's been years as well!! I'm just ready for the phone calls and flyers in the mail to stop!!

I went to post on our Jan 4th cruise thread and I was the last post on there for the 3 month countdown...

Either the ship is going to be pretty empty or I'm the stinky kid on the thread!

I have been a busy little bee today too.

The weather here is absolutely great today so I got outside and did some yardwork

I figured that inside stuff could wait until after the sun goes down.

Liz is feeling much better now. She still sniffles a bit but not too much.

Last weekend we went to Southern Ohio. Harrison, Ohio to be exact.

It is on the border of Ohio and Indiana and not too far from Cincinnati. It was very pretty there and the weather was fantastic. It was almost 75º. Certainly could not be complaining about that.

I took a few pictures that I will post for you. Hopefully quicker than those cruise photos that I haven't posted yet

Kelly, I dont' remember you being the stinky kid on our cruise

Morning Kelly.

Actually we are going to have a weather repeat day today of what it was like yesterday.

The weather is going to be upper 60's here until the weekend

Except I pulled too many weeds out yesterday so I don't know if I will be able to continue with that today too

I do have definite plans on getting out and enjoying some of this weather today though, even if I just sit in a chair on the deck.

What a shame that your Cruise thread is quiet. Are all your vacation plans sorted now ?

It sounds like you had a lovely time Robin. Did you go in your trailer ? or did you fly ? I look forward to seeing your pics ~ though I'd love to see your Cruise pics first

Oh lucky you to have nice weather. We've had drizzly rain for days. Summer has well and truly gone. Oh well, it's just over 7 weeks till we get to Florida, I hope we find lots of sunshine down there

We took the trailer with us. That will be our last trailer trip of the season.

Actually we don't have ANY trips planned at all right now

The weather here has really been quite wonderful this fall season. I'm not complaining at all.

It's ok though! The kids are looking forward more to going to WDW than on the cruise, they can't wait to see you guys!

We've decided to wait on dining plans, I've been watching a thread for Jan codes hoping something will come up! DM & DD bought us the 3 day park hopper passes for Christmas, it came with 3 days additional for free! So we are pretty much ready to go!

Not sure if I told any of you, but next Tuesday CW, DD, DM, and myself have another business trip to Seattle next week. We did this last November... I will miss the kids soooo much again!

Betsy ~ The last JB movie was quite good, it's just this one that's disappointing. We're huge 'Bourne' movie fans, and it seemed that some of the stunts were similar to them

Our Disney Wonder Cruise vacation, Sept 27 to Oct 3, 2008

Watching the ship being loaded and still wondering how the heck they got a dent in the side of the ship way up there

Wonder what was so funny

Exploring before sailaway, we found the Golden Mickey.

I seem to remember the big Mickey at the front of the ship as being open holes. Now they seem to be closed in?

You know in all the times that I've sailed I've never noticed that brass bell at the front of the ship

And we are off, heading out to sea

Especially for you DISUNC and for James............ Elvis Stitch Not a great picture but you can kind of see him.

Our cabin, 1068, category 9 (upgraded from a GTY 12). We enjoyed the portholes. We shared the room with my mother.

While we were having brunch in Palo there was a major thunderstorm going on outside. This poor little bird was standing belly deep in a puddle for quite some time. I was wondering how we were going to rescue the thing and where in the heck it had come from. It sat for about half an hour and then flew away.

Me and mom on the "secret" deck 7 aft deck. A man was out there doing a business call on his cell phone and he offered to take a picture for us.

The origami fish that our server Brent made for me at dinner. I named him Blub blub.

We are in Nassau now. If you follow the line in the pavement, our cabin windows are the ones right in line with it.

This little cutie was just hanging around the island paths soaking up all the attention it could get.

Thought this was kind of funny. It was taken from outside on Deck 4. If you were looking at the lady while walking down the hallway inside, she looks like she is very busy working on her computer When in actuality she is playing solitaire

Okay, now on to last weekend's trip away to Southern Ohio.

An airplane in the wood pile It didn't actually land there it was placed there. It is a tradition to bring any broken airplanes from the past season to this weekend and sacrifice them to the airplane gods, hoping for a better year next year. They made the poor pilot dance around the campfire with the airplane on his head before he put it to it's final resting place

Our trailer and truck parked for the weekend.

An idea of how many people were there just by looking at some of the cars sitting in the parking lot.

The name of the local club who owns the field we were at.

Some views of the area which was beautiful. Hills and trees and a nice river that ran thru the edge of the property.

I tried to tell her that it was too cold to be swimming but she didn't seem to care.

Yes that is the same Brent that we had.

He was very nice and a lot of fun.

The first night I noticed that there were no children at any of his tables.

I told him that since he had no children to wait on at that sitting he was welcome to practice his magic tricks and jokes on us

So he did.
