Kelly - Sorry that you can't log in at home and that you're so busy - we miss you

Robin - Have fun in Jackson, are you going to a plane competition ? and in your trailer ? I hope the weather is good for you

We haven't got any plans for this weekend as yet. As long as the weather is nice and I can sit out in the garden, then I'll be happy

Right now its very cloudy here. We are not suppose to get rain, but it sure looks like we will... We will see....

Well I have no real plans for today...except maybe go to pick up some milk, that I had forgotten to buy yesterday...
Also Id like to find a Cheap weed wacker....as Im starting to look like I live in a jungle...around my house..
The one we had last year broke just befor the season ended....

Morning ladies.

The weekend was very nice for the most part.

I came home with a bit of sunshine although the day I was sitting out wasn't really sunny. There were a ton of clouds but just enough sun to cause the burn.

Everyday that we were gone there was a thunderstorm but they happened at night and did not affect the airplane competition at all.

Kinda scary though being under a tornado watch (every single night ) when you are living in a travel trailer.

And gosh was it HOT. That's not necessarily a bad thing though because I like hot weather

Rick did well again. He got another first place finish. I really dont' know how he manages to do that

He never practices because he can't find the time during the week to do it. He goes to competitions and always seems to place in the top three

Oh well, who am I to question his method, it seems to be working well for him

Today it's going to be another warm one. I've got dress rehearsal for the dance recitals that are on Saturday. Guess I best get my costumes all gathered up together in one spot.

Oh yes I forgot to tell you something.

Liz decided on the weekend that she is going to work as a nurse at the summer camp all summer this year.

She will be leaving on June 22 and not coming back home again until Aug 14.

Alex will also be working at the same summer camp but he has to work on finishing his paramedic course too.

So he has to continue working along with a paramedic in a town about an hour away from here.

That means that he will be travelling to the west an hour for several days a week all summer, working 12 hours and coming home to sleep.

In between that work schedule he will be travelling to the east for about 7 hours and working at the summer camp.

It's going to be a fairly quiet summer for me without either one of them around for most of the time.

It sounds like your kids are going to be busy, busy, busy this Summer - I hope they enjoy working at the Summer Camp

Morning all.

We had an evening of very intense storms last night.

Lots of lightening, large hail, thunder and a virtual ocean of rain.

More storms and stuff predicted for the rest of the week too.

I hope then the weather will calm down and we can have some nice dry, warm summer weather.

The power went out at the dance rehearsal last night. Thank goodness for emergency lights. They actually light up that theater really, really well.

We made all the kids get out of the dressing rooms, which had no light at all and sit in the theater. After awhile we just started going thru the dances without the music At least it was practice of a sorts.

I feel like I am so totally NOT prepared this year for the recital, which is kind of strange.

Of any years I think that I know the dances the best that I ever have

This morning I have to take the kitten to the vet for her last kitten shot. Then she should be good to go for the next year

She's a real cutie but boy is she active. Always getting into things and running around like a demon cat

Oh Betsy, that is so funny, me & gardening (as you can tell, I'm not into gardening ) No, I was lazing on a lounger in the sun today, and very nice it was too

I've been hearing all about the hot, hot, hot temps that a lot of you are suffering with at the moment, our temps are in the high 70's, which is much more bearable

A week to go - you must be so excited - I am excited for you

Robin - I don't like the sound of all these storms you're getting

I'm sure once the recital starts, you'll be fine, and I hope you get to enjoy it too

I hope Kitty is OK

Kelly - I'm missing you, I hope you get to come on and say 'hi' soon

It's been lovely here today, I spent most of the afternoon sunbathing - gotta make a start on that suntan

Duster is just fine.

She needed to go for her kitten shots and her rabies shot.

When I went outside today I noticed that my car has many dents in it from the large hail that we got last night.

There are at least 7 or 8 large dents in the front hood, the roof and the trunk lid.

Hello out there!!

Boy do I feel isolated from my buddies here lately! I've been going thru withdraw not speaking to you all!

I cannot catch a break! I've been working longer and harder than usual... I didn't know how easy my job was before!

It has been hot, hot, hot here and customers without air conditioning have not been too friendly. I understand... I feel bad for anyone in this weather with no cool air in their house!

Betsy, less than a week! I know ur excited! Have fun getting it all together!

Robin, sorry to hear about the dents in ur car! Glad little Duster is doing well! Give him kisses!

Mandy, did ya get any sun? It won't be long til ur back on the Mickey boat! My little neices and nephews are getting excited that our ship sails less than half a year now!

I've got to get back to the phones, they've started ringing like mad again! Take care!!

Good Morning DWDQs,

Well its cooled off here a little...It should be a very nice day...not too muggy.

I have this and only this day off until we go....So Im going to sit out as much as I can...
Although when Im this close to going to WDW...I normally dont sit for long....Im always thinking of little things to put on my list , or to finish getting together....Im soo pathetic ...I just CANT relax...

Tomorrow, is my normal Thurs. lunch day, and on top of that Im dropping Albert off at the groomers. So he's all spiffy for my DBIL(not that he cares..LOL)It will also be alot cooler for him as Dsis, and DBIL lives in the city, and its always alot hotter in the city.
and then Im going to get my hair cut, and C-O-L-O-R-E-D on Friday....I really hate to spend the money on that right now, but I also hate to show my "natural highlights"

and then theres the weekend...Im ALWAYS busy on the weekends, and Sunday we will drive a hr. back and forth, to pick up the rental, with the girls...and Monday ( Mke has that day off) it all the last min. stuff in the day. Than we will be getting the girls in the evening for a very excited and wild night ...Im sure!

THAN.....

We are off first thing Tuesday morning...

Thats it all in a nutshell...or in my case it will be a NUTHOUSE...LOL

I hope you're having a nice day. I went to town this morning and bought myself some denim shorts and a nice Summer top for my holidays - woohoo !!

This afternoon me and Kerry went to see the Sex & the City movie, she's seen it before, and she loved it. I've never seen the TV programme and I thought it was OK

Kelly - hey, it's great to hear from you. Sorry that work is keeping you away from the DIS, I hope you'll be back soon

Robin - OMG, I can't believe you've got dents on your car due to the hail, I hope it's dried up where you are now

Betsy - I can just imagine how excited you are, you're all going to have such a fantastic trip. Enjoy your next few busy days in your NUTHOUSE !!

Today I spent some time and work and doing some work related errands.

Then I went with Liz because she wanted to pickout a new bathing suit.

What have you got planned for this weekend ?

Tomorrow Paul & I are going to Birmingham. We'll have a wander around the shops, have a nice meal and stay the night - and the girls are having a friend to sleepover

On Sunday we're taking Paul to our fave Italian restaurant for dinner for Father's Day
