Thank you for my birthday wishes too. We had a great time, though it was rather chilly too. I will be doing a trip report, but I think Kerry's got the card reader, so unless Paul can get one from work, it won't be till next week that I can post some photos

Robin ~ Not long till your Disney Cruise now, you lucky girl, I bet you can't wait. Are you sailing with Ann and Tom again ? And what is the 2nd ticker ? When did you book this one ? You lucky thing, I'm so jealous

Hey Mandy, so glad to have you back.

Sounds like you managed to have a fun vacation in spite of the chilly weather.

I'm looking forward to your trip report, as always. I enjoy reading them.

Yes we are cruising with Tom and Ann again

We are actually flying down and staying at their house for 2 nights before the cruise and then returning to their house for another few nights after the cruise.

Rick has an airplane thing to do in their city, so it works out great for us.

Then on the Sunday after we get back from our Disney cruise, Rick and I are off to Miami to board the Norwegian Cruise, Jewel of the Seas for a 7 night cruise

We decided that we were already going to be down there so maybe we'd check out a different cruise line while we were there.

Got a fantastic deal, under $500 US per person on a 7 night cruise.

It won't be Disney but I think I can cope.

The Norwegian cruise we just booked a couple of weeks ago.

Tonight we are going to a friends house for his annual Chili Competition. I'm not really sure that I'm keen on going but Rick seems to want to go, so we will go.

Mandy, are you out of the deep freeze over there yet?

It's actually warmed up quite a bit here for the past couple of days. The snow has been melting.

Mandy I just wanted to tell you that I started to read your trip reports but I'm going to have to wait until I get home again before I can get back to them.

Gives me something to look forward to when I get back from my vacation.

I've got a ton of things to get done before I leave, more things than I can possibly accomplish.

We are flying out on Friday Jan 22 and returning home on Sunday Feb 7.

We are now planning on going to Detroit to stay near the airport on Thursday night. I had thought we'd just drive over on Friday morning but the weather is somewhat unpredictable, so we booked a park and fly package.

I feel much more comfortable being there ahead of time because you never know with the traffic and the border crossing what might come up to delay you.

Hello everyone....I'm doing a fly by...
Its my day off and we are waiting for friends to come over and bring us a bunch of cinders for our driveway..We had a couple of days, with rain/ice, then we keep getting a dusting of snow...So its kind of interesting getting down/up it..
