Yay !! It's nearly the weekend

Is anyone doing anything nice over the weekend ? We haven't got any plans, I just hope it stays dry and warm and then maybe I'll sit out with a book :thumbsup2

Robin - Thats great news from the doctor, it must put your mind at ease. So have you and Liz got plans to dress up for MNSSHP ? Don't forget to take lots of photos from your 'Meet'

See ya later

Mandy :)

Good Morning all,

I have no real big plans for this weekend....maybe work on the house, like normal..theres always something that needs finishing...

BUT...Today,
I go and get my hair done....:cool1: ..It needs to be trimmed, and my highlights need freshening...;)

AND, my sister came in to town from AZ. ...late last night..She is staying at my DNephs....So Im waiting to hear from her this morning.....:yay:
It really hasnt been that long ago she moved there(last Feb.), but I still have missed her and it will be good to see her again...:3dglasses

Heres to a great weekend for everyone:wizard: pixiedust:

BTW,
I just might get the Ts done, that I had planned on doing for the guys:thumbsup2 ....I actually found the transfer paper, Ive been needing and havent been able to find:yay: ....Now all I have to do is find the time:hourglass ...to do them up...:rolleyes1

BUT Im thinking my costume is not going to happen....Unless I could con, my sis into helping me..as she is the big sew-er, in our family...
I barely, made it through home ec....in school...
It might have something to do with NOT attending most of my Home Ec. classes (There were two parts to a school year....I was only interested in the cooking part ,.....Not the sewing part) though...LOL...
I was a VERY BAD little girl...:rolleyes1

TTFN

Good morning!!!

Robin> Glad to hear that most of the test came back fine!! The next test will come back fine as well!:thumbsup2 Good luck on getting in the MNSSHP! Hope you and Liz have a great time!!

Betsy>:yay: Looks like you're a busy bee here lately preparing for everything! I know you're enjoying your sister being around:banana: It seems like mine live so far away because we have a hard time getting together... we only live no more than 30 miles from each other:sad2:

Mandy>Have you finished your Harry Potter book? How are the girls? I will pass the "hello" to Chad & Carolin! Please tell the girls "hello" from me as well!

Well.... Chad suprisingly (sp:confused3 ) got a good amount of playtime on the defensive team. His position was Safety; he almost caught 2 interceptions, had an assist tackle and broke up many passes:banana:

I was so proud of him and he was feeling pretty confident last night!!;)

Tonight is date night for CW and myself and it's my turn to make the plans for the evening:scratchin The rule is to be selfless and go somewhere of his liking.... NO CHICK FLICKS...:lmao: Darn... there goes me getting to watch The Nanny Diaries!:rotfl2:

What's everyone up to this weekend?

Hey Girls

Betsy - it sounds like you've got a busy weekend ahead, I hope you have a great time with your sister

Robin - Hiya, have a good weekend

Mandy>Have you finished your Harry Potter book? How are the girls? I will pass the "hello" to Chad & Carolin! Please tell the girls "hello" from me as well!

Kelly - I am now reading my Harry Potter book for the 3rd time, I read it twice, then I read the 6th book again and now I'm half way through the last book again :rotfl2: It sounds like Chad played well, has he got a match this weekend ? Have you got any girly sleepovers this weekend ? Kerry and Becky have got a couple of friends staying over tonight

BTW - I forgot to mention this morning that I lost another 3lbs, I've got 2lbs to get to my 'normal' weight, and then the hard work begins as I'd like to lose another 5lbs, but I haven't been able to lose this in the last 3 years :guilty: but hopefully I'll stay motivated and lose them in the next few months

Have a great weekend everyone

Mandy :)

hi all.

I just got new glasses so I'm trying to get eyes adjusted

I've not got any big plans for the weekend. Just take it as it comes I guess.

I have no plans for a costume for MNSSHP. I guess I'll just go in my usual Halloween costume..... my mean mom costume :thumbsup2

I'm posting from on my knees in front of my computer .

:confused3 Why you ask would I be doing something like that:confused:

Because there is a cat sleeping in my computer chair of course :cat:

:rotfl2:

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: Why do pets always get the best seats ? I think we're too soft

Robin - I cannot imagine you as a 'mean mom' ;) I'm sure you'll have a great time whether you dress up or not

Mandy :)

Okay Mandy, I promised you a few pictures months ago and here are some for you.

Great photos Robin, it looks like you have fun at the plane competitions :thumbsup2

I love the piccie of you with your parents, you are really like your mum

Thanks for sharing

Mandy :)

Hey everyone

I hope you're all doing something nice

Me & Paul are sitting here watching the Rugby World Cup on TV. England are playing the USA and after 20 mins it's 3-3. This will be the only time I won't be supporting the US ;) though I hope they do well against the other teams :thumbsup2

We're off out tonight to a 25th Wedding anniversary party, and then we haven't got any plans for tomorrow

Have fun

Mandy :)

I hope you had a fun day today Mandy.

I ended up cooking a big dinner tonight for the family and Rick's flying buddy Cliff (in the above pictures)

His wife is in England right now awaiting the arrival of their 3rd grandchild.

So Cliff is playing bachelor right now and we took pity on him and fed him;)

Hey there everyone!!!

Just stopping in to say hello!!

Robin, love the pics!:goodvibes I especially love your tshirt:love: Glad to see a pic of your parents, how sweet! Hope your dad is doing well:thumbsup2 And poor Cliff looks pooped!! :lmao: I noticed... looks like they actually put "little pilots" in the plane to give it that much more of a "real" look;)

Mandy, No sleepovers happened this weekend;) Chad's next game is Wednesday... he's hoping to get some playtime:wizard: BTW... good job on losing 3 lbs:cool1: ! Good luck on the next 2, you can do it:yay:

CW & I had a very simple date. I took him to Cape Charles and we sat on the beach with take out pasta dishes... only they forgot to give us forks with our dinner:sad2: CW said to "make the best of it" and dug in with his hands:lmao: We had a good time laughing at each other eating like little pigs:rotfl:

I didn't take my camera, but we sat at this same spot. This was our sunset view, looked exactly like this minus the kids and boats:

Have a great evening all!:grouphug:

Hey Girls

The Wedding Anniversary party went really well, thanks Robin :thumbsup2

Kelly - what a lovely picture, shame you didn't take a photo of you both eating with your hands :rotfl2: :rotfl2: I'm pleased that you had a great time even with the lack of forks

I can't believe that it's Monday again tomorrow, time is flying by

Chat soon

Mandy :)

Kelly, yes they do have "pilots" in their airplanes.

It is actually a requirement that they have a "pilot" and a "control panel" of instruments in their plane. They can lose points if they don't have one.

I love your beach picture. Beautiful. :goodvibes

It's back to fall dance class schedules this week. I'll be the dancing fool, again!

Morning everyone but not necessarily a cheery good one :confused3

I wasn't able to sleep much last night for some reason.

I'm plenty tired but sleep is just eluding me.:guilty:

I've gotten up and had a snack and now I'm going to try and get in a bit of sleep to help me make it thru the rest of the day.:sad2:

Morning Robin - I've just noticed the time that you posted and I was wondering why you were up so late/early

I hope you manage to get back to sleep, or that you don't feel too tired today

Have a lovely day

Mandy :)

Morning girls!

Mandy, glad you had fun at the Anniversary party! Speaking of Mondays... boy was it hard dragging the kids out of bed this morning:guilty: This is going to be a loooooong school year:scared1: Carolin said that she spoke with Kerry the other day, Kerry was explaining the school system in the UK. Now little miss wants to move in with you guys:rotfl:

Robin, hope you are napping well at the moment!:wizard: Bless your heart! Do you have dance lessons tonight?

Carolin said that she spoke with Kerry the other day, Kerry was explaining the school system in the UK. Now little miss wants to move in with you guys:rotfl:

Kelly - As long as Carolin doesn't mind sharing with one of the girls, then she's more than welcome to come over :thumbsup2 I think it's so cool that they are all keeping in touch with each other

Mandy :)

Good morning again:lmao:

Yes that was pretty early in the morning for me to be posting Mandy.

I usually only like to see that time of day when I'm heading to the airport to fly off somewhere (preferably to Florida :thumbsup2 )

I did manage to get a couple more hours sleep :cat:

Dance classes start tonight. I have 2 hours of classes tonight, tap and then hip hop.

Then on Thursday I'm probably going to do 3 hours. One in the morning and two at night. The morning is the 50+ class for us older ladies, then hip hop and jazz at night.

I think I need the exercise:dance3:
