7th January 2007, 4 Night Wonder Cruise

Hey, everybody!!

It was a long travel day for us yesturday. We got off the boat early sad1: ) and grabbed our luggage. We checked with the airlines people outside about getting an earlier flight home and she told us we wo8uldn't make it to the airport itn time....she was wrong!! We tried to change them at the airport but because our luggage was already checked, they said we couldn't. Our flight didn't leave 'til 4:50 pm so we spent the entire day at the airport~ ! When we did leave, once in the air, a guy passed out and they were calling for a dr!! Everything turned out okay, I don't know what happened, but they said he was okay. We got to phillie and couldn't land so we spent and extra 20 minutes circling. Finally landed, got to our next gate and on the plane and had to wait 20 more minutes to take off. Happy to be back home when we finally got here and then I found our they lost my suitcase!! I've got one suitcase emtied and everything washed and taken care of....two more to go and hopefully by then mine will show up somewhere. I told Eric at the airport that I missed the eye contact and smiles from everyone on the ship. Staff and guests were all very friendly. We had a great time. Sorry I didn't get to see more of you guys, I'm an earlybird, not a night owl!!

By the way you have converted me to the Bahama Mamas...a GREAT drink...
I dont know if you heard, but I got seasick the last night.....Didnt even get dinner ...BUT I did get to sleep for 12 hrs....and that really helped me rest up for the long drive ....So maybe it was a blessing...BUT I really MISSED that last night..and I didnt get to see artists palate ...

Told Mike that he'll have to take me again so I can see what I missed on that last night

Well I have a ton to stuff to do..and then Ill upload my pics...to share some

Welcome Home Cruisers!

I am committed to do a DCL 7 Day Western (Key West & Mexico) for New Years Eve at the end of 2008. The calander is supposed to be out in April. The folks I criuised with last year are looking out for it so we can book when it publishes...

I'd love to cruise with all of you, what a party *that* would be! You all and my Christmas Cruisin friends are soooooo alike...really.

Hi everyone.

Just wanted to let you know that we got home about 6pm tonight.

Had a good time at the POP Century but I kept expecting to see all you cruisers around just like on the ship

We had such a nice cruise. Meeting you all and hanging out together made the cruise extra special.

I've got a TON of pictures but I haven't even looked at them yet myself.

I'll be sure to post some of them soon.

I just wanted to let you all know how nice it was to have so many friendly faces to spot about the ship.

Kelly, your whole family was wonderful. Having your mom and dad hang out at night with us was great. Chad said hi to me everytime he saw me. Such a nice young man. Jimmy made a pretty convincing pirate

Wendy, I'm sorry that we didn't get to spend too much time together. Our paths just didn't cross all that much I guess. I loved some of the pictures that I saw of your kids in Shutters though. The one with Randall and his grandma is great.

Suzi. It was so very nice to meet you. I saw you and your family around the ship tons. Your mom and dad and aunt and uncle were sitting behind Betsy (Dalpal) and I and our husbands in Palo's at brunch.

Mandy..... what can I say. Loved hanging out with you and Paul. I have lots of good pictures of your Village person Your girls are lovely

Im just sitting here having my coffee, and waiting for my DGGs....
Im also wishing my view was the same as it was every other morning last week....The great blue,...with the sun rising ...Im gonna miss that....and having it delivered to my room ....

Its rainy here...and we are suppose to be getting freezing rain tomorrow...

I was pleasantly surprised this morning when I stepped on it.

I weigh exactly the same as when I left home.

Well we are finally home. We landed around 7am this morning and got home around 9am. We went straight to bed for a couple of hours and then I made a start on my washing

Kelly - It was great to run into you all at MGM Studios on Friday, I hope you enjoyed the rest of your vacation

Betsy - I was so sorry to miss you on the last evening. We were shattered on Tuesday night, so we missed you all partying that night, then on the last evening I felt so much for you while you were suffering with sea-sickness (mind you that last evening was a bit bumpy).

Robin - Glad you enjoyed yourself at the Pop Century, it's a lovely resort, what parks did you get to ?

Sisters - I hope you all got home safely, it was so much fun meeting you all

Wendy - It's a shame that we didn't run into each other more, though we did see your hubby in the lift (but as I have a memory like a sieve, I didn't recognise him - sorry I'm useless ) I hope you all enjoyed yourselves too

Suzi - I'm glad we ran into you all, you all looked like you were having a great time

Thank you for all of Paul's birthday greetings, he had a great time at the Contemporary (though we were too tired to take advantage of it). We had a lovely breakfast at Chef Mickeys.

Anyway it was a pleasure to meet you all onboard the Disney Wonder, and I really hope that we all get the chance to do it all over again

Glad to see that you made it home safely too.

We went to ALL 4 of the Theme parks on Friday

I kept an eye out but I didn't see anybody I recognized at any of them.

We went to MGM first thing in the morning, then Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and finally Epcot.

I've got my washing going also.

Got to get my act together and post some pictures of the trip.

Welcome home...Glad you all made it safe and sound....Dont worry about me getting sick...I got a great reast for the next 2 days of travel...It was kind of a bummer to miss the last meal at AP...I really was looking forward to seeing it ...Oh well That just gives me an excuse, as to why I have to go again...to see all I missed ...
