Kelly, we first found out about the delay when we were on the road about 20 minutes from home.
But we had to go to Toronto by 5pm to pick up something for the business so we had to keep going anyways.
So Liz and I had dinner and found a craft store to browze in for a bit. We managed to pass the time okay.
Then we had to dodge the "airport police" We knew that Alex had landed and was waiting for his luggage, so we parked outside the baggage claim area.
We were told we had to move, so we circled all the way around and parked at the furthest end of the area again until we saw the "police" coming and then we moved again
We weren't the only ones doing that particular shuffle
