I've got time for a quick post! What a weekend! Kayla was home from college. She will be checking the thread when she gets back to school, our dial up gets very frustrating with sites like this. Too much going on so it takes forever to load pages. Her car gets fixed today and she's headed back, I'm sure she'll be happy about it too. She seems to have really adjusted well and enjoys being her own boss. The kids got their progress reports, Cora's is excellent and Randall;s, not so good. That child found a way to get an "N" in gym, art, science, math, english, history. The only thing he got an "S" in was music!! ("N"= needs improvement, "S"= Satisfactory) I think last week he started to get his act together, but the reports were all filled out so the teacher didn't change them. I also got his Maine Assessment Test Results. MEA's are the state guideline tests. He tests average for the state, so he's fully capable of doing better in school. The teachers says he isn't "motivated". He really HATES school. Cora is still a little under the weather. It's hard to tell with her because she stays busy all the time. She finally lost her appitite this morning. She stayed home for and hour or so this morning but couldn't stand it, she wanted to be at school, so she is now. Eric has a toothache. His mouth is swollen and he headed to the dr for a script to help. He is already scheduled for a dental appointment for that tooth in 3 wks, but till then, he's a little grumpy!! And me, I've just been dealing with everyone and trying to stay stress free! I've got oodles of laundry to do, and I need to pick up the kids at school today so Cora can get her hair cut. I'll be taking the camera. She has a 13" ponytail, and they need 10". My sister is a hair dresser, and she knows what Cora is willing to have cut....Most Of It!! I can't believe she is going to let someone cut all that hair, but I don't really want to make a big deal of it either. Her heart is in the right place.

It's great to hear from you, have you made any ressies yet as our 90 day mark opened up yesterday

It sounds like Kayla has settled into college well, I hope she is still excited about the cruise.

We can't really decide, we were thinking of Atlantis or the stingrays. I'm really not sure! We did agree that we need to spend more time on the ship and less money on excursions

So we'll be cutting it close...but I'm pretty certain that Mandy can have a Bahama Mama while she waits for me to show up!!!

But seriously, I really cannot wait to meet you folks. If I don't get in on the boat the first day early enough, I'd like to find you another time. I didn't want to ask my parents to stay an additional night with our 3 kids, so we're flying in on Sunday.

Jennifer - I think you'll be in need of a large Bahama Mama when you get onboard. I'm sure we will be able to arrange another meet up if you're running late. All being well you could be onboard between 2pm and 3pm as it's less than an hour from Orlando International

I never know what day it is, I swear, I do this all the time!!

Cora went to school late today and left early!! She took her favorite sandwich for lunch....real chicken her dad roasted on 12 grain bread w/very lite miracle whip. (Cora will NOT eat mayo). While she was at the lunch table, she lost her "lunch" directly in her lunchbox!! She's had dry heaves off and on all day! She did get her haircut, but only because my sister cuts it. I took pictures, it's really cute. I'll try to upload them and post tomorrow. I also need to download the form so I can send the hair to "locks of love".
Randall had a really good day at school today. He said he even studied with flashcards when his work was done instead of drawing and stuff. Eric feels sooo much better, he's out on the tractor right now getting a few things done before the weather gets tooo cold. AND.....I GOT MINE, ERICS, AND CORAS PASSPORTS TODAY!!!!! Still waiting on Randalls but I expect that to be coming right along!!!

I haven't made any ressies yet because it is our first Disney cruise,.....I have to wait for the 75 day mark!! That's only 2 wks away though so I did check the website for ideas. I don't think I'll do to much though. I'm excited to eat at the regular resturaunts on the ship, so I won't be booking Palo's at all. And as far as excursions,....I was thinking either stingrays in Nassua or Atlantis. I wasn't real impressed with Nassau the last time I was there, but I did LOVE Atlantis.
So how was everyone else's TUESDAY ?

Whaddayamean No Palo?!?!?!

You gotta do at least 1 trip to Palo during your cruise...

yes, there are other restaurants, but none are the same as this...

put the kids in the clubs and GO! You'll not regret it...

it's only an hour or 2 of your 4 days time,
esp if you aren't gonna do much on excursions,
I highly recommend you eat there just once

I spent alot of my time on the boat when we were in port,
except for the shops being closed it's actually very nice

There are movies and the pools and the clubs and more,
I only once tried to go shopping (near the end of our cruise)
while in port. My recommendation for that,
do your shopping early in your cruise~
nearing the end the shops tend to get very busy anyway...

Yay, great news that your passports are arriving, it really feels like your holiday is close now

On our previous 3 night cruises, I had never been to Palo either, we love going to all the restaurants and trying the different themes. We've only booked Palo for this trip as it's brunch ~ otherwise we probably wouldn't have tried it.

I'll have to send them to my photobucket, dummy me didn't send them all! Just got excited about seeing the ship and picked my fav pic!

But in the meantime, here's something to look at:

This is the bridge I have to drive over to get to the city, it's 17 miles long over the water! I love it, but hate to drive it!​

Chad & Carolin on a naval ship's anchor! As you can see Chad wasn't very thrilled to be there, he was ready to eat!​

I'll update my photo album and put another pic of our dreamy ship on! I'm gonna see if I can catch her leaving our area when it's time.

We look forward to meeting her How long is your fall break? Have fun!

My fall break is two school days and a weekend long. So 4 days (though as we would get the weekend off anyway I don't think it really counts all that much. . My mom will be heading to the airport in about an hour. And then she and my aunt Judy (who is also are TA) will come in pick me up somewhere between 6:00 to 6:30. After I take a test which my teacher is letting people come in early to take. We are then heading back to Aunt Judt's condo which is hooked to a wireless network so I be able to post. Tommrow mom and I are going to the mall of America . Friday night all my Aunts and my Grandma who live in Wisconson are coming down and My mom, aunt Judy, Grandma, and me are going to a play then were spending the night at a hotel and and Saturday we are going to some outlit stores. well I'll check in latter.
