Kelly, don't worry about the momentary dietary lapse, you needed the comfort and you'll get back on track again.

Poor kids, I bet they didn't expect all of that fun stuff at the doctors. :sad2:

I agree with Robin - Kelly it must've been very stressful hearing all that from the doctors. Poor Carolin and Chad for having to have vaccines and medication etc.

Robin - have fun at the baby shower and plane competition

Suzi - I hope you enjoyed your Pirates movie and popcorn

I don't think I'm ever destined to lose any weight, Paul came home from work and took me out for a spur of the moment Indian meal. We had a lovely time, but it just feels like I'm always eating - LOL

I haven't got anything planned for this weekend, but I hope you all have a great one

Mandy :)

Hi All

Kelly thank goodness thats all you had, what a stressful school physical day!!

Not much happening here. Finished yard sale did okay, brought home too much stuff, but I didn't want to give it away!! Finished cleaning my room and awaiting the new furniture. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Chat more later :grouphug:

the movie was really good. Even if it hadn't been good I love anything that gives me an excuse to stare at Orlando Bloom for two hours. Will Turner is the second cutest movie charecter landing just behind Wesley from The Princess Bride. What can I say I guess I'm just a sucker for a guy with a sowrd.

:wave2: Morning all

I hope everyone is well today. We're having a quiet day today, but I will be popping out to get Kerry her Christmas present later on. She is after a TV/DVD combo and they're on offer in our local supermarket ~ so that'll be another present got

Sue ~ Glad you did OK with your yard sale

Suzi ~ It sounds like you had a fun time watching Pirates pirate:

Happy Sunday everyone

Mandy :)

If you call homework fun I'm having a blast.

Hello everyone!
Mandy,
I had a great time today!...

DH and I took my DGDs and My dog (Albert K Ninestine :teeth: ) to a responsible dog owners events, put on by the American kennel club at a local park.
I entered Einstein the contests...He recieved 3 first place ribbons :teeth:
in Shortest tail, smallest dog, and best costume,..

He was a runner up in best jumper, and best trick,
and got a participant ribbon in best licker... :cheer2:

It's not so bad because I'm looking at the boards while doing my homework. But thanks for your concern.
Love Suzi

Hi Betsy

It sounds like you've had a great day. Well done to your dog for winning all the prizes, BTW what was his trick ? (LOL)

Mandy :)

Good Morning :sunny:

Mandy,
He balances toys on his head until I tell him "OK" ( his record is four, I have pics...Ill see if I can find them and post them for you)....

I didnt have his toys with us as I didnt know we would be entering him, so I had him bal. a treat for "Best trick ". unfortunately, treats are just a little too tempting to wait for me to say "OK"...and with everyone looking at him it was hard for him to pay attention to just me...So we didnt do too well in that one ...but I guess they thought he was trying really hard,...So he got a pity ribbon :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I also have pictures of our day yesterday, I just have to get them off my camera..Ill post them when I do.. :thumbsup2

How are all my cruiser buddies doing?....
The more the trees change around here, the more excited Im getting to go! :yay:

No plans for today...maybe get my house cleaned from the weekend....Its amazing how dirty my house gets on the weekends :sad2: ...
and I have laundry to do too... :laundy:
So Ill check in a little later...
In the mean time enjoy your day everyone :sunny:

Did you know that you can actually get a good bit of exercise done while driving on a major highway :smooth: Put some good music on and wiggle, shake, move your arms (one at a time of course) and move those legs. Amazing :rolleyes1

And some weird looks  :rotfl2:

Hope you had fun at the baby shower!

Hey everyone sorry I haven't posted in a few days. Things got a little busy here at school. TGIF. They have a speical showing of Pirates of the Carribean 2 in about an hour here at school. It's going to be outside and there giving out free popcorn. I'm really excited because I haven't seen it yet.

Hey Suzi! Believe it or not, I still haven't seen that movie! I might as well wait until it comes out on dvd :guilty:

No weight loss for me this morning but I don't feel so bad because like Kelly I haven't gained any :teeth:

I have been getting compliments though on how much thinner I'm looking so I guess that is a good thing :thumbsup2

Kelly keep it up... it will drop off sooner or later

Good luck this week, Cally! If your getting compliments, stick with it! It's obviously working good for ya! :thumbsup2

I still stuck with my new habits over the weekend :teeth:

Aw bless him, that is so cute

Kelly - I'm glad the kids are OK and enjoying their tryouts. Yes, I did get Kerry her TV/DVD combo, so that's another pressie sorted

Everyone - Good luck with your weight losses this week

Mandy :)

p.s I love this time of the year as well, it's lovely to see the leaves change colour

p.p.s Christmas Day is 14 weeks today - woohoo !!

Christmas - 14 weeks....ohmy! how ever will I get it all done? :goodvibes

I had a pleasant weekend, but still have yet to buy a scale. I really don't "feel" like I've lost weight, but Ihave been making some healthier choices. I did walk twice this weekend and primed the walls on one huge room in our new house. I'll change my ticker this evening to reflect those changes.

We had two "lookers" on the old house yesterday and our neighbors tell us one looked for a long time...no offer though. SOON :Pinkbounc !!

Regarding my earlier post about my DH teaching in January; I think I will be going on this cruise no matter what! DH needs to just pack it all in and forget the idea of teaching that week!!! pirate: I need time alone with DH. I'm looking forward to our cruise with all of you!

Today I'm trying to drink those 8 glasses of water. Go choose a paint color for DH's office in the new house, get the battery fixed in DHs car (car broke down over the weekend), and the normal mommy stuff of cleaning house, doing :laundy: and driving from place to place to pick everyone up :moped: .

It won't be long now :mickeyjum

Mandy> I can count on you to help me keep my Christmas timeline straight!
smiley-christmas.png
You've been helping me remember to buy presents along the way :thumbsup2

P. S. Do you think Miss Kerry will read her present or does she already know? It's hard to keep things from teenagers, they always seem to find out :rotfl:

Jennifer> Good luck with the "lookers"! Before you know it, selling your house will just be a memory! :teeth: As for DH, the school will have to understand! I'd start packing asap!

Kelly ~ Kerry's TV/DVD has been put up in her bedroom already, it was such a bargain, I thought buy it now and she can have it straight away (somehow I can't imagine that she'll believe that Santa will deliver it in 14 weeks) :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Jennifer ~ It's great to hear from you, I'm so pleased that you'll still be sailing with us. Fingers crossed that you sell your house soon :wizard: :wizard:

Funnily enough I had my suitcase out today. I've got a Castaway Club towel that I have never used, and I am claiming it for the cruise, so I washed it and now it is ready to go back in the case. I also bought a skull & crossbones ring today for Pirate Night too pirate:
