Okay, so our plan last year was to arrive Christmas morning at ~7:30am for the last half hour of morning EMH. We got there around 7:45 and were able to hop on Space Mountain (~10 min wait time.) We decided to implement the same plan this year. We would FP+ 7DMT and do Space Mountain during the morning EMH.
We couldn't get 7DMT during Christmas Day for FP+. So, we went with a Space Mountain FP+ and figured that we would ride 7DMT during EMH. I came to find out that apparently 7DMT is not open during morning EMH.
If we get to the park at ~7:45am again, how can we work it so that we can ride 7DMT at RD?
Do we just hover around the area and head over around 7:55am?
If we're in the park, can we get in line at 7:45am and wait till 8am?
What's the best move here?
