The VIP Package is the ultimate Discovery Cove experience, and includes:

• A private cabana overlooking one of the Dolphin Lagoons ($199 value)
  • Dedicated personal host / hostess for your group only
  • Comfortable seating for up to 6 guests
  • Private and stocked refrigerator
  • Private locker
  • Snack, beverage and towel service
  • Hammock in cabana
• Discovery Photo Package (valued at $229 including an assortment of photo prints, digital photo CD, Dolphin Interaction DVD, poster, photo frame and a photo album)
• Reserved seating at Laguna Grill
• Planned itinerary escorted by dedicated host / hostess
• Additional up-close animal encounter

I must admit that while we have never opted for the VIP package, I'm not a fan of the "planned itinerary" concept that it includes. One of the wonderful things about DC, in my opinion, is having NO itinerary....and being able to enjoy the features of the park at our own pace.

We have done the Elite package, and thought it was a very worthwhile splurge.

I don't want any more planning or itinerary. Planning the WDW part of our trip is making me nuts. All my dinning is done booked but now I get the joy of obsessing over what FP to get and if I will get on the rides. I'm not pre planning anything for Discovery Cove or Sea World. I hope thats the right way. Lol
