We've been assigned 7600 and connecting room 7602. Anyone familiar with this location/rooms? I have no idea of what to expect but I'm getting excited for our January cruise. It's a surprise Christmas present for my kids so I get to share the anticipation with all of you!! Can't wait to see their faces!

:) Minniesota,

It just so happens that myself, DW, and twin DDs had 7600 on our 4-day Wonder last April. As with most rooms on a ship, it is a little small but bigger on Disney. The verandah is great and the views when pulling in to Nassau and Castaway Cay were awesome. No noise problems that we noticed and even though you will be close to the laundry room, no issues with that either. You will be about midway between the aft and central elevators so access is pretty simple. There were people in 7602 but we rarely heard them. I assume the room is similar.

You should have a great time!! We had so much fun that we realized 4 days was not enough so we booked again while still on board for a 7-day in May 2004. I can guarantee that your kids will have a great time! You will never want to come home. Have a wonderful time.

Mike

Okay, I give up. What the heck is a muster station??? As you can tell, this is my first cruise:D

The muster station is where you'll go for the "life boat drill" prior to departure. We were at the very aft section of deck 7, and our muster station was in Animator's Palate restaurant. You get your life vests and go there, to be familiar with the drill incase there is a problem at sea.

Thanks for the info! Another vocabulary word to add to my cruise dictionary:D What stateroom were you in on Deck 7 and did you like that location?

We had 7632 & 7634. We loved both of them. It was a very quiet location. One note about these staterooms: they have solid metal verandahs, so you cannot see when sitting down. I think next time we'll get the regular verandahs (like what is in 7600 & 7602) - I'd really like to have a "view" when sitting down. :) The aft section of the ship is very convienent to Parrot Cay and Animator's Palate, as well as Topsiders/Beach Blanket and the deck 9 drink station. :) We do plan on staying in the aft section of the ship next time. ;)
