Our date to check in and book Palo, etc. is next week! :cool1: This is our first time on DCL, so we are last to be able to check in for everything, so I want to do it right. I know that at midnight we can do something (not sure what), and then later in the night we can do something else. I'm not sure which comes first - checking in (for boarding times), reserving dinner at Palo, etc.

To make things slightly more complicated, we have 3 different rooms with 3 different confirmation numbers.

The thing I am most concerned about getting the earliest boarding time possible.

Can anyone help me understand the process better? What to do, what to have with me (passport info, etc...), how to do all this?

Thanks so much!

At midnight you can book activities. As long as the reservations are linked, you can log in using 1 confirmation # to book all the activities for everyone. Check-in at 3 AM is a different story. They have to be checked in separately. My suggestion is blow through it and pick your port arrival and go back later to check and correct the info and enter passport numbers. All the info can be edited up until 3-4? days before departure.

At midnight the day (night?) your booking window opens, you are able to book excursions/Palo/Remy/spa hours/nursery hours. At 3:00 am you can do the online check-in.

For the check-in (if you are doing everyones) you need confirmation numbers, names and birthdate of one of the people on each reservation.

You much do each checkin separately. Some people just enter jibberish on the checkin pages until they get to the port arrival time page just so they can get to that page faster. I'd think that would be a good idea for you. Just enter something on each page til you can pick your port arrival time. Then do the next reservation same way, until everyone has a port arrival time. Then you can go back and edit the check in, taking your time filling out the correct info.

Thanks, guys! Another question - We're not doing any excursions and only one cabin wants to go to Palo and Remi. Is there any need to do anything with the other two cabins at midnight in order to be able to get the good checkin at 3:00 for all of us, or can I just go straight to the check in at 3:00 for those two cabins?

Thanks again! Any other tips will be appreciated!

Yes, you can just do the 3:00 checkin for those rooms.
