$71 a point???

I just had my offer to buy 100 points at $71.

Do you think Disney will let it go through or will they buy them at that price?

I understand they have been buying a few at that price.

Just looking for reassurance.

I had an offer accepted in April for $69 point at VWL. I think it depends on the overall package. What is banked etc. Good luck and let us know what happens!

I was under the impression $72+ was the magic number. They may envoke ROFR at $71. Let us know what happens.

I would think that your resale would go through, considering that Disney is currently selling BWV points so they really would have no need to buy back BWV points for their inventory. Good luck though!

I closed a HH resale contract less than 1 month ago (total time took around 6-7 weeks during the time when Disney was actively buying back resale contracts) with half banked points from 2002 and all 2003 points paying $62 total. No maintenance fee reimbursement, no closing costs. $62 period.

I made the offer knowing the seller may not accept it, she did. I was also happy to walk away if Disney bought it back since I already have points there. But they did not.

So you just have to make sure you are comfortable with the price you pay, make the offer and just wait to see what happens.

We are very happy with the purchase and process - could not have been easier. Just wish the seller would get the contract back to the closing agent ASAP.

The agent just sent our contract for BWV at $68/point to Disney and we are waiting tooth and nail for their response. I hope to see the final contract in a couple of weeks. But as we are itching for our disney fix it can't come through soon enough. But not to worry if it doesn't come through in time or Disney exercises their ROFR we have a Fairty Tale Package booked as a backup plan
