I also like all your pictures of the dwarfs. Heck - I like all of your pics because they are making me want to go to a Christmas party.

I can't believe someone would be so rude as to refuse to leave the park, but I bet it happens all the time. Not cool. At All!

Yeah I think it was the coming to the end of the holiday. She may have been home-sick or over-tired or something I dunno it seemed to come from nowhere but yeah the Christmas show was good.

Day 13, part 8:
So we were waiting for crowd to move from behind us after the Celebrate the Season show but next was the second Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas parade. I had planned to go to the second one because everyone says on the boards that the second parade is always quieter yeah well apparently everyone else had planned to go to the second parade as well. It was jam packed. There was no getting near the front of the crowd for a good view so what do we do. I told Momma to follow and headed in the middle of the road as such towards Frontierland, stopping to take a few more castle pics along the way:

Then just past the bridge from the hub towards Liberty square I spotted a gap in the crowd and chairs so I ducked under the rope and pulled Momma with me and there I stayed. Momma went and sat on one of the chairs. I think she possibly went for a snooze but wasn’t going to admit that. I did notice a lady beside me with two smallish children in a stroller and they were zonked. When the parade came she tried everything short of throwing water on them to wake them but it wasn’t happening for her. Poor kiddos must have been exhausted. I on the other hand took a bazillion pics of the parade here’s a select few:

Day 13, part 9:
So to keep going with the parade pics:

I couldn’t make up my mind whether that was Sleeping Beauty or Rapunzal but the Prince looks more like Sleeping Beauty.

After the parade we slowly made our way across the hub towards Tomorrowland of course stopping to take more castle pics. There’s just something about that castle that every time I pass I must take pictures:

Checked out all your pics before I left for work. Let's see if I can remember what I saw.

Oh Yeah - castle pictures are again stunning and the parade pictures make me wish I was going back at Christmas time. I have not taken pictures of the parade with my new camera and I really love those toy soldiers!

STOP THE TRIP REPORT!
Ok so that might be to dramatic but I was just looking at someone elses trip report there and pictures of Chef Mickey's and realised I completely forgot to tell you all about what happened our Chef Mickey ADR. Before we went for the trip I had booked Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Via Napoli and Chef Mickey as our ADR's and we were meant to go to Chef Mickey's the morning of the 6th of December. However after Momma's eh experience in Tusker house she became a bit disgruntled towards the adr's so when we were in Epcot on the 1st of December she made me cancel the Chef Mickey ADR as she said she had enough of them Oh well maybe next time I go I'll get to wave napkins in the air and meet Mickey in his Chef suit.

Was I the cause of reminding you about missing Chef Mickeys? I was so pleasantly surprised by the whole experience there from the food to the character interactions (not so much the CMs)...even my dh who hates this type of place loved it...hope you get to do some napkin twirling!!!

I totally understanding having to take millions of pictures of the castle...I could not help myself either. I thought it was beautiful during my summer trip, but covered in lights...well there are no words for that!

You actually were! I was looking at your scrap book pages and then thought wait what date am I talking about oh yeah! Momma isn't really into the whole adr character dining thing (or the disney thing for that matter.) I think I'm adopted. I love all the Disney things and love the character meals I swear I revert back to about 5 when I see the characters coming towards me but Momma thinks they're stupid. The only people in my family that like Disney now are my two nieces. At the moment there's hope for my baby nephew as well. His favourite song is the Hot Dog song from playhouse Disney. Other than that I think i'm adopted

I know. It's going to be so hard to visit any other time of the year now. I'll just have to move there so I can see it all year then I won't have to narrow it down to one time a year

On a completely random unrelated note I was looking in the newspaper in work today while I was on my break and there was a little article about some woman whose husband had left her because she made him sleep with these reborn baby dolls and collected hundreds of them or whatever and there was a picture and a side note about some girl that has 400 Disney plushies and counting. I will never think I am bad with plushies again (or at least until I reach 400) because I know I don't have anywhere near 400 (i think)

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that far behind on the trip reporting that I'm talking about the MVMCP in August

I really don't know on the parade front. Maybe if we went further down main street it was quieter or it might have been a busy night the night we went but the second parade was jam packed! I dunno what the first one was like that night. I reckon if I was going again I'd go twice and do characters one night and parades and shows the next.

I like when I get unexpected Disney post. I guess my TA sent me this:

So happy I had been trying to clear one of the lanyards so I'd have a lanyard for pin trading with in Paris.

Speaking of that.My park ticket arrived and I've paid for flight and booked hotel.
The other cool thing about Paris is at the moment one of my friends from college is actually working in the Disneyland park at one of the counter service restaurants. She's due to finish next month but may stay on so if she does I will be arranging to meet up with her when I'm there.

Day 13, part 10:
So when I left you we were making our way across the Hub towards Tomorrowland. Once we got over to Tomorrowland our first stop was at Cosmic Rays to check out the dance party. This one was a lot cooler than the one in Diamond Horseshoe. It was more like a disco than a let’s play cupid’s shuffle and everyone copy the moves type of dancing. If I could only go to one I would definitely choose the dance party at Cosmic Rays over Diamond Horseshoe. The characters were out dancing with the guests. There was one group of teenagers I was watching and Goofy was with them until they left. The characters were switching between Santa Goofy, Pluto and Chip and Dale. Enough talk time for pics:

There was a CM going around dressed as some sort of Christmas elf and she was handing out mini candy canes to kids. Dale however took the box and went outside to try get people to come to the party. Then he came back in and stood at the door for a while then just gave up and started giving everyone candy canes… including me:

Momma had gone missing for a bit but I found her after I had been given the candy cane and I asked her if taking candy off a 5ft chipmunk counted as taking candy off strangers.

Momma while she had gone missing had gotten some food for herself:

We then went to the Totally Tomorrowland Christmas show (again) because the first day we saw it the video camera ran out of battery right before the “big finale” so I wanted to get the finale on video:

After that the party was over so we headed slowly towards the exit. Of course taking pictures along the way. One last shiny castle picture:

And then we had no other choice but to leave the park *cries*

We headed for a very busy bus stop and there was a CM called Nick loading people on to the buses and amusing everyone at the same time. When the bus arrived he shouted at us all to get on the bus and go to our rooms (like you’d tell a child to go to their room when they’ve been bold.) Once back at POP we did indeed head to our room, I was admiring the way people had decorated their windows for Christmas and then I nearly ended up on the ceiling when a Cockroach started crossing the path in front of me… There are cockroaches at Disney! (Someone in my 2010 trip report told me they'd never seen cockroaches in Disney.)
We got to bed about 1am and then at 4am Momma’s phone rang, it was my brother in Ireland who wasn’t copping the time difference but had a problem with his post. Momma thought I was asleep but obviously the phone had woken me and I could hear her telling him how much she hated POP and how there was big Lady and the Tramp yokes near our room and they were just so big it wasn’t real looking. :/

Next up: I should have just slept there for the night.

Well, I got behind once again last week.

I completely agree with your point about the second parade at the Christmas party. We did the same thing the night we went to the party and I think the second parade was probably the most crowded experience I've ever had at a Disney World parade.

I wonder was the earlier one any quieter. Maybe next time I'll try the earlier one and see what happens.

It was good. There was so much we missed character wise though so i think if I went again I'd go twice so could do the characters in one party and shows in another.

The room was alot smaller in POP than in the other hotel and then she kept saying she didn't like the huge decorations like Lady and the Tramp as they weren't very real... and I quote "I mean when did you ever see a dog that big!" I on the other hand loved it!
