Wonder what was going on with Duffy! But, I'm glad you were finally able to meet him.

No idea what was going on. I had met him the first day but wanted to get the pic with Angel in it as well

I think Duffy didn't want to get in the picture either I really just wanted the picture that day with Angel in the pic because I had got pictures with Duffy the first day in Epcot.

Happy last day of May. Tomorrow is WESTLIFE MONTH Going to three concerts in the space of 4 weeks... oh yeah and my masters results are supposedly coming out in 8 days! Whatever have an update:

Day 8, part 6:
So we'd just left Epcot heading for Magic Kingdom and I was saying to Momma that when we got there I needed to go search for a tape for the video camera because I was afraid there wouldn't be enough space on the tape I had and yours truly forgot to bring a spare tape (Not meant to get these things on video much? ) Well we went into the Emporium to search for a tape. I did take time to do a hidden Angel pic:

They had no tapes in the Emporium and sent us over to the place where Mickey's meet and greet is because there's a camera shop there and here is where it started to go horribly wrong. I took the tape out of the camera to show the nice CM and the camera was my brothers anyway but it hadn't been working properly as in the tapes kept getting caught or it'd be recording and then say there was something wrong with heads or whatever else so when I took the tape out a load of the tape wound out. The CM also told us that they don't sell those tapes anywhere in the Magic Kingdom. I stayed calm about it in front of the CM but then took the tape over to a corner to sit and try wind it back up and it wouldn't and I just sat there and cried. Second time to come to Magic Kingdom to try get parade and fireworks and camera was being a Bee with an itch again. I was missing a chance to explore the Boardwalk as well to try get this plus then that day half the entrance where the little trees and soliders were was taken up by ABC who were setting up to record the parade now we weren't sure which parade would be coming tonight either. Once I stopped crying I worked on the tape until I finally managed to get it to wind back in and then we headed to the bakery for a much needed pick me up!

I got me an Ice-cream cookie sandwich hmmmm. It was kind of funny though because the cookies were 2.95 each but the Cookie Sandwich was 4.19 so apparently you buy two and ice cream you get it all cheaper!

Momma was talking to a CM while we were in the Bakery and they confirmed for us that it was MSEP going on tonight and normal fireworks and camera crew were only setting up for the weekend. Considering I was doing a masters in Broadcast Production at the time as well I have no idea why I didn't take pictures of the camera people setting up or at least try talk to one of them about the job prospects or whatever I guess I was to upset over the camera to care about them. Anyways that's besides the point. Ice-Cream cookie sandwich in hand and I think Momma may have got a fruit bowl but whatever snacks in hand we went out onto an already very full main street and hub and decided to wait for parade and fireworks anyway. We found a spot behind a bin because we figured that nobody could stand in front of us there and the place was already crowded so it was fine for us. Next thing the Move it, Shake it, street party came along up the street. I had to laugh I think this was about the fourth time we'd seen this already this trip. I took pics anyway and then just watch it as I enjoyed the sugar rush from the cookie Sandwich.

Then we watched the castle lighting show from a distance:

I think at one point I turned the camera back on to see if it would work and it decided it would cooperate but there was only 20 mins left on the tape so I decided to use one of the digital cameras for the parade taping and save the video tape for Wishes.
While we were waiting for the parade I was admiring the pretty Tinkerbell Balloons:

I've no parade or fireworks pics yet but I'll take some off the video camera when I get round to that tape. Tinkerbell did not fly tonight either during Wishes. It had been cold all day and I think by the time we got to Magic Kingdom it was threatening rain as well so that's probably why she didn't fly. Anyways one more castle pic:

and then we headed for the exit and apparently went through the Emporium again because I have this as the next picture from the camera:

It was on a t-shirt in the parks. I seems to have a thing for the grumpy t-shirts on this trip. We took the Monorail back to Epcot and managed to get the last bus back to our hotel where I took a pic of my growing family:

then we all headed to bed I'm sure dreaming about that amazing castle with all it's pretty lights.



Next up: A little bit of Paradise.

Were we... must look back at your trip report. I tihnk I remember something bout the 1st December on yours.

It was crappy. We had taken it with us because it was smaller than ours but for the amount of trouble it gave we should have taken our own. I managed to get bits of the parade on the digital camera though and I think I got Wishes on the video camera. The Ice-cream sandwich definately made up for the bad camera though.

Did y'all just hear me squealing over there in America? Remember Monster Spider that went missing after it fell off the wall because I was attacking it with fly spray... Either it has a twin that is slightly lighter in colour than it or it showed up and on carpet it looks lighter! Here I am innocently sitting at the computer minding my own business and putting the Hollywood Studios video footage on the computer when out of the corner of my eye something moves. I look over and here is this monster crawling towards me. Well I leap up and land across the far side of the room at the same time screaming MAMMY (it's quarter to two in the morning over here so she asleep but I keep calling) She came down and get the monster but he leap out of her arms and started crawling at me and I run to other side of room and sqealing all the while... Not a big baby much. The monsters after me! I may have got her up at 4am last night because I found another Monster as well. I think they're multiplying in our house

You should've grabbed your camera & you could've made your 1st sci-fi movie! "Attack of the Giant Spider!" Or something like that! Then, you could've made the sequel, "Attack of the Giant Spider's Offspring!"

It was driving me mad and another day I thought I'd lost the camera with 700 photos on it. Well the tear fest until we found it. But I think every video tape got caught in the camera and I had six. They work but some of the have sound issues but I can work around that.

Yup that was me. It's actually surprising how fast I can move to get away from them like .5 of a second I was on the far side of the room. The night the other one fell off the wall I leap back and landed on top of the piano.

Aw nos I wouldn't be able to watch that. I like Harry Potter but I can't watch Chamber of Secrets because of the spiders and in Azgaban and the Deathly Hallows I have to skip the dvd on when the spiders come on screen

The ice-cream sandwich was yummy. It was fun. That was Angels second time to Florida. We didn't take him to the parks in 2010 though in the previous trip I was afraid to bring him because he used to have a music box thing inside him so I was afraid that airport security might think it was something dangerous.

Do they even have cameras around here anymore with tape? I don't video much, but I thought everything was pretty much digital now...but I suppose there are still camera being used with tape.

I went looking for a CF card and no go either for me. only SD cards, which my SLR does not use.

I'm still trying to decide if I want to take my laptop to unload pictures or just keep collecting more CF cards......I just don't know how many I'll need for that many days.

UGH - I can relate to your camera woes, but in a different way. I have an older mac book pro and I never know when it is going to accept video from my camera. It takes so many maneuvers to get it to upload and the last time it uploaded in triplicate. So frustrating when things don't work how we want them too. I am glad you finally got the tape wound and were able to get the video you wanted.

The ice cream cookie looks amazing. I really have to get one of them.

It was yummy. They give you a choice of three different cookies, sprinkles (Like the one I got) chocolate chip or plain. Totally yummy and like I said cheaper for the cookie sandwich than buying two cookies!

Thanks. I always take pics of the bands now because of our own Magic Music Days experiences. We can't obviously take pics of ourselves performing so you're relying on other people to take pics plus some of them might be on dis ya never know! But like I'd love to find pics of our dance school performing in someones trip report like so return the favour and all that!

Yeah I thought that was weird that it worked out cheaper as a cookie sandwich than buying two cookies.
