I've never really been much for her. I mean, I won't go as far as to say I hate her, but I really dislike her. I think she's getting way too much attention; personally, I believe she's a horrid actor, and I have friends who sing better. But I think that if you're a role model for so many young people, you really have to watch what you do. People like Miley have more influence over the youth than I believe they realize sometimes. I mean, personally, I think Disney did better with Hillary Duff; even when she left, she's still kept up a good rep.

i have to agree i think c u again is odly good. . . and not just me but all my friends do too. . . odd. . . well as far as miley goes, her songs r kinda fun to dance on occaision. . . like east nothumberland high idk tho i do agree with most ppl that she is trying to b avril lavigne. . . like in the middle of G.N.O. she does that whole thing that avril does in the middle of Girlfriend. . . so that is all i have to say on that matter. . .

This site is meant to be about talking about NICE things to do with disney! if you want to go and b**** about stars dont do it on here! that song may not be the best, but Miley is amazing, all her other songs have been personal and about being a teenager, tske miss you, its about her grandfather weho died! she is 15 after all, same age as some of us on here!! cut her some slack!

oh, and the pics were a bit disturbing i must admit, but she was just messing about taking pics with her mates, like everyone else does!!! all teenage girls mess about taking pics, hers just may have been a bit revealing!

I agree with Tierney. The teen boards are for talking about nice things about disney. it is a bit harsh all this slagging Miley Cyrus off. Although we are all intitled to our own opinions we should maybe not let them off too much as sometimes it upsets others. Have you ever considered what this thread would make others feel like??

I personally like her songs i think they are quite inspiring and touching though i must agree that the 7 things song is slightly different. I didn't really like it but maybe other people did and i think we should respect that as we are all supposed to get along.

And the thing about the pictures, again i agree with Tierney. The pictures were slightly odd but everybody has done something stupid in there lives and we should forgive and forget. We're teenagers we are meant to learn from our mistakes.

I know people were saying that Rockstar is a rip-off of Scotty Doesn't Know from Eurotrip, but I really don't think it is.

I like this song it is one of my favorites from her.

I mean, some of her songs are alright.
I mean, See you again, is oddly good.
I just don't think she is a great role model. I mean, yes, those boyfriend pictures...whatever. Everyone does things like that I guess.
But all the other ones? The Vanity Fair shoot, the slumber party photos, all the underwear pics? Those are inappropriate. I think it's okay if she takes them on her own. But she has many, many, many young fans. Those photos should never have been put online. It disapoints me that she would do thinks like that, when she is in the public eye of young people.
