Hi. I am looking at a 4 night cruise on the Wonder next April to celebrate my DD's high school graduation. She wants to bring 4 friends (most will be 18, one will be 17). Will also be me and DD8. What would be the best way to book this? The five teens would want to be in the same room but are there any rooms that would sleep five?

There are some rooms that sleep 5. They are identified as "family" staterooms. But there are a limited number so it's sometimes cheaper to book 2 connecting staterooms than one stateroom that sleeps 5. It would be best just to get on the DCL website and play around with different combinations of staterooms. One thing to keep in mind is how much time will they really spend in the stateroom. Is it really that important that all the teens sleep in the same stateroom? What about two connecting staterooms for all 7 of you and one of the teens sleeps in the stateroom with you? There's nothing that says the 5 teens can't hang out together in the one stateroom when not sleeping.

Keep in mind that any person under the age of 18, must be booked into a stateroom with an adult 21 years of age or older. So this may limit you a bit. The teens that are 18+ can be registered into the same stateroom without an adult 21 or older.

Also, the 17 year old will not be allowed in any adult area including the adult pool, clubs after 9, Serenity Bay, and Palo.

And the 18 year olds will not be allowed in the teen area.

So the mom, son and the 17 year old can be in one room, and the 4 18 year olds (figuring the daughter is 18) can all be booked in another room?

Or mom/son/daughter/17 year old in one, and 3 18 year olds in the other.
