7 nights for the price of 4

The 7 nights for the price of four was already released by this time last year for January thru March. Thet haven't been released yet for 2011. In fact there has only been a couple of deals for next year released. Do you think this is a sign of what's to come? Are bookings up and the need for discounts gone?I hope Disney is dragging their feet and hoping that they won't need them.

There are currently 3 deals for that time period: free dining, % off on rooms, and the gift card deal. I don't think Disney has run more than three deals at the same time in th epast couple of years, so I don't see them adding anymore deals.

Yes , but only the free dining extends past 2/16. I am really looking at what they will have during March.And I think the free dining also is blocked off at certain times in March. So really for March there is nothing yet.This is spring break time but they have still had deals the last couple of years.

Last year they released a blanket discount for the first half of the year, 7 for 4, in September. This year that discount seems to be replaced with Free Dining.

Free Dining seems to make Disney more money than a lot of other discounts they've tested in the past.

I agree the 4/3 deal would only be released if free dining wasn't filling the resorts. I don't think you will ever see that deal again.

FD is working for them.

That would be great but the free dining isn't available for most of March, none of April and very little of May.I would rather free dining than the 4/3 deal. They've done the 4/3 deal the last couple of years so I am still holding out for this. I hope there is at least some discount.

I am going in May and would love free dining or 4/3. Actually I would take just about any discount at this point!

The 7 for 4 this year ran only for dates through the end of March. We went in February. Last year we did the 7 for 4 in March.

I'm not holding my breath they will do it again. It basically comes down to how many folks are signing up to go without it. The no free dining in March and April probably answers that question.

I haven't really seen anything other than FD for March ......hoping they will at least offer one other discount for the month especially since Easter isn't until late April....I figured that was more of a key time

I'd like to see a 40/35/30 deal, but I'm not holding my breath, it would just free up our budget that little bit more.

Its not that free dining makes the money. When you are booking free dining, you are paying rack rate or the full cost of the room. That is what Disney is trying to do...fill the rooms. And they would much rather have someone pay full price for a room then have that same person pay for the room at a discount.
