Say you want a 9 day trip do you have better luck booking for 7 days and then modifying each additional day or just wait 2 days and book for 9 days?

Book the first 7 days as soon as it opens. Then add a day to your reservation for the next two days so you have 9 days. Especially if you have a vied for room (AKL value, BWV std, etc)
