7 night eastern or 7 night western cruise?

what cruise do you people like the best, I've been one the western one and now wanna go on the eastern one, so I wanna know who is the eastern and who likes the western on better and why

It's really a matter of what you'd rather have...The Eastern cruise has three days at sea compared to two on the Western. The Eastern stops at ports which require you to wake up early for customs. If you get seasick easily I recommend the Western since the ship really has to speed down to St. Maarten, which causes the ship to rock more than normal. Otherwise that it's; just your opinion.

I like the Eastern due to the extra sea day. A negative, since the VI is a US port, there is a day on the Eastern when you have to get up early since everyone has to clear customs (an added "bonus" since 9/11).

Having been on both, there is no such thing as a bad Magic cruise (unless you count what Jeane did to us last fall). I end up choosing by dates rather than by which way the ship is going. I can find good and less good about both.

I love the Eastern because of the island of St John. Do you own excursion on the ferry to St John and go to the most beautiful beach in the Carribean and the US too. (According to travel chanel) Trunk Bay! You can rent snorkel equiptment cheap and it is some of the best snorkeling I can't wait to go again in December. Customs is okay...just get up and go in your pajamas. BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST DAYS OF MY LIVE WAS WHEN i DISCOVERED tRUNK bAY. It is a National Park and admission is cheap, Food and beer is available and snorkel equiptment is rented for $5. Better beach than CC......Okay quiter with nicer sand and better snorkeling.....will I get booooed of the board for saying that?? I'd pick the Eastern over the Western in a second. Rent a car(Jeep $90) in St Maarten and see it all. Go to the Butterfly farm, shopping, and to the beach of Your choice. See and visit the locals and try French Pasteries. Great if you have kids! Great if you travel on a budget. You can usually save a couple hundred on the price of the eastern because it is often on sale.

However, I heard that the western was ending. True?? I just think there are better ports than MEXICO. Grand Cayman is nice though but is more expensive to shop....I still vote Eastern.

Eastern is a Carribean cruise.
Western is a Florida/Mexico cruise.
