Question i have a Hilton Head home resort.....Will it be hard getting a resie at the WDW DVC resorts at the 7 month mark...The HH deal was too good to pass up but want to go to WDW most of the time .....Thanks

That is tough question. Typically the smaller and more demanded resorts fill up the fastest. When making a reservation under 7 months typically Saratoga Springs and Old Key West have availability but the other resorts can be hit or miss.

A good example. I was able to make a reservation at the Beach Club in 3 studios over July 4th back in 2006 and I own at Old Key West.

I am sure you will get lots of feedback.

As HH owners since it opened... we have never had any real issues getting into other resorts @ 7 months. When heading to WDW we might not get our first preference, but we always get in somewhere. The funny thing is that we've had more issues getting into HH at peak times if we don't book at 11 months! For example, we are languishing on the wait list right now holding out hope for Thanksgiving at HH!

We own at VB since 1999, we have only stayed there once, and have stayed probably twice a year at WDW. We generally don't have a problem. But you have to have a little flexability with where you are going to be ok with. Though we normally get what we want, once we did have to change weeks in order to get a Savannah view 2br. But other than that you should be ok, except for maybe peak times.

thanks i lovr OKW and SS anyway so im psycked to get a great deal at HH

We've owned at VB since 2001 and have always gotten our first choice. Never ever had a waitlist. We tend to not go over any holidays either, takes too many points, so we stick with other times of the year, which there are many. Last trip was BCV with an Epcot view and coming up is a 2 bedroom Savanna View at Kidani. Also just booked a studio at OKW only 6 months out for a short stay this winter. I don't fee like we ever have to settle, and hopefully you won't either. :thumbsup2
