We successfully booked the BCV 2BR/2Q at the 7-month window! We did give up our BWV 2BR/Standard though. Very excited to try the BCV, because we LOVED the BC when we stayed there a few years ago. :)

Great!! Don't you love it when things go your way!

Report back on your stay and your room when you get back.

Cool :cool1: :cool1:

So far, we've booked OKW and HHI at the 7 month window without a problem (admittedly at off times).

Enjoy :teeth:

Good for you, it's funny, I was willing to give up a Boardwalk view for our BCV trip, but I don't know that I'd trade SV for the larger number of points at BCV! It's great that you got one with the 2 Queens!

Congratulations, Cali. We'll look forward to a report! :flower:

And, I can't wait to write the report on BCV! ;) We'll be staying at BWV 2BR SV (and, somewhere else for the weekend) before our BCV stay, so it'll be nice to compare the two Epcot DVC Resorts.

We requested non-smoking, pool view, top floor. I do now realize that it is not possible for all those requests to be met. But, I'm guessing that they'll still be using room ready so the requests won't mean a thing anyways. :) Any favorite villas?

Funny to read this, we just did nearly the same thing... Traded 8 nights BWV 2 BR BW view for a dedicated 2 BR at BCV in late May. We've heard so much about the pool that we thought we'd give it a shot!
Also, one thing I didn't know prior to buying BWV is that all the 2BRs at BWV are combined Studios and 1BRs. In the grand scheme, no biggie, but our kids are young and I'd prefer not giving them the extra door!

No favorites but just so you know... There are only a couple Ded. 2bdrm w/2Q's that are pool view and they are on the third floor (two of them on the ends).

I actually requested a pool view last Feb. ... no wonder they couldn't find me one! We had a 2 bdrm w/2 Q's that was a third floor Epcot view, pretty much over the canal. It was really great for the fireworks, but the daytime view isn't as inspiring (backside of Epcot, canal with a little bit of floating garbage, Epcot Resorts Blvd. bridge over the canal aka service road) along with a little noise from the thump of cars over the bridge junctions (not bad but there). Would I take that room again if offered (assuming I had a choice)? Sure. The fireworks were great! Would I be upset if I didn't get Epcot view? Nah.

The first trip was a 1 bdrm first floor pool view... actually it was canal view. We liked that as well. When my then little one rested one of us would slip out the patio door for a dip in the pool. There was a sidewalk fairly close to our windows but suprisingly it didn't seem to bother me.

If you have a 2Queen room you will not have a first floor and it unlikely that you will get pool view, but there are a couple. More then half 2 Queen rooms are on the third floor. I believe they all have a window instead of a patio door in the second bedroom. HTH

I have to add one advantage to the rooms down toward the canal is that they are real close to the self-parking lot. Very handy.

Hi,

Congrats!!! Have a good time!!

That's great! BCV are wonderful, as you know!

We did the opposite and are staying at BWV standard view 1 bedroom for 2 nights in May before our Magic cruise. It was really hard to give up our BCV ressie though but saving 12 points will get me an extra night in a studio another time! LOL!
