7 month window when to call

I need some help to know exactly when to call for the eleven month window and seven month window. I know this was discussed but a search did not reveal the information. By the time we settle we will have missed the 11 month but not the 7 month for a december trip. We have a December use year. Thanks, Nancy

Suppose you want to stay at the VWL from Dec. 8th and checking out on December 15th. If you wanted to book at the 7 month window, day by day, you would begin calling on May 9th, the day you can book December 8th and you would add one day as the week goes on. MS is closed on Saturday and Sunday and so, you would be completing your ressie on May 16th, when you would be booking the 13th, 14th and 15th of December.

If you just wanted to book the ressie at once, you would be calling on May 16th.

The 11th month window for the same ressie day by day began on Jan. 10th because Jan. 9th was a Sunday.

Your use year does not affect when you can make the ressie, unless you are buying SSR and your building isn't opened, but I don't know anything about that.

As long as the points will be in the account for when the ressie is made, you can make the ressie. You can have these points in the account because they were banked from the previous year, they are the current year the ressie is in, or you have borrowed the points from the coming year.

Generally speaking... for peak periods, you will want to do a day-to-day reservation if you have NO flexibility in dates.

Yes, it's determined by your check-out date.

Also, if you plan on making a day-to-day ressie, make sure you tell MS so they will keep your reservation open.
