7 month window opening - Phone or email best?

We have reservations for OKW for our stay in October. We want to try and switch to BCV to be closer to Epcot (during F&W). Would it be better to email the request or just get up early and make the phone call? I'm not sure that I have the patience to wait for an email response, but thought I'd ask the question.

I would call. Emails are answered I think within 48 hours and I've sent some that have never been answered. Phone is the best way.

Thanks. I probably wouldn't be able to hold off making the call. I just have to decide what time I want to get up to call from the West Coast.

Definitely call at 9:00am eastern/6:00am pacific. BCV is difficult during F & W.

you and me both- but I am not interested in F&W, just find it easier with little ones and stroller to use a ferry.

Call!!!!! 6 am is not really that early I just changed mine From THV to BLT at 7 months and call right at opening and got what I wanted for F&W. But I guess that may be easier to get since you have to take the monorail to get to F&W. But with a one year old it will be great to within walkin distance to MK!!

thanks! I have had good luck in the past getting BWV by calling 7 months out, but I know F&W will make it a little more challenging.
I am trying to prepare myself for other options. But since we dont want to rent a car this time, I really dont want to be at OKW. I have found when staying there a car is critical.Although I have a gaurantee to be near Hospitality House currently. But still- the bussing system is like CBR- winds thru the whole resort and I dislike that.
The ferry is soooo nice with strollers!

We shall see...just a couple more weeks for me to make that call.

I called last week at 7 months for GCV right at 9am and I surprised that I didn't even have to stay on hold at all. I'm assuming they have a larger staff in the morning? I would definitely call.

Well, I am impressed. I was able to get a BCV 1 bedroom today at 7months for Oct 1-8th.

Ok, you win! I had a hard time reading the numbers off of my card today. I can't imagine having to call at 3am!

UPDATE: I didn't know you could only book 7 nights at the 7 month window. I got the room at Beach Club , but have to call back again tomorrow and Thursday to complete the reservation. The MS agent was pretty confident that I'd be able to get the room, but I'll be calling first thing in the morning just in case.

Oh sorry If i would have read your post before now, I could have told you that. I actually called today and added the 9th on with no difficulty at all. So we will be there from the 1st-9th. Good luck with your next two calls.

After three early mornings (well early for me). We are confirmed for our entire stay at Beach Club Villas.

We've always wanted to stay there so we are thrilled to be able to walk to both Epcot and DHS.

We're booked for Oct 2 - 11 so we'll be neighbors for most of your stay.

Yeah I called at 6:00am and got through without having to wait. We didn't have any trouble with our dates at BCV for a 1 bedroom.

Happy you got your dates. We don't really mind if we don't get the last two days of our trip at BCV. It's not like SSR is a horrible place to stay.

If anyone's going to be looking for a studio at BCV on 10/9 and 10/10, I'll be calling at 7 months to give up my reservation there and move (hopefully) to AKV. I'm at BCV the week of 10/3-10/9, then I decided to switch to lower points and rest a few days.
