Hi all,

We are planning a trip for January 4-9th. Everyone wants to stay near Epcot this trip, so I'm using our 7month window for the first time. I called today and was told to call back tomorrow (goes by the day you check out, not the day you check-in - didn't know that).

My question is, we need one 1bed and two studios for this trip - we will take any view, any Epcot resort. What do you think our chances are of getting all our nights - sunday - friday? I know these questions must get so tiresome, but I really thought I'd know and now I have to wait another whole 24 hours!!

Thanks for indulging me. Aaah, I really thought today was the day to call.

OK....you know, this is a guess, however, I do think that what you need will at least be available at BWV, preferred view. I also think you have a shot at BCV and BWV standard view.pixiedust:

I'm going to say slim for that time period at those resorts. The 1 bedroom will be easier than the 2 studios.

Thanks to both of you. I'm prepared to book 3 1bd if need be - just hate to waste the points for the kids since they won't use the kitchen or the laundry.

We can even spread out between BCV and BWV and have different views. I don't want to have us spread out all over WDW - I love SSR and we've stayed there the last 3 trips, so everyone wants a change.

Uggh, I guess I could waitlist it. This far out, I am sure I would get lucky.

You certainly are being flexible! Do let us know how it turns out!!!

I don't think you will have a problem at all. I booked a 4 night getaway at the Wilderness Lodge during Martin Luther King Holiday in January with no problem. I booked a Studio at 3 months out with no problem.

But MLK would be a lot easier than the first week of January.

Why not a 2 bdr and a studio wouldn't it save you points and get the rooms together a little easier?

I am sooooooo glad I clicked on this thread. We wanted to do a 2 night stay at BCV in a studio (no 1 BR on weekend nights!;) ) and I read this and figured I would call to see how it was going. There were 3 studios left! So I went ahead and booked the first night and will complete it tomorrow. Thank you!! And good luck.:goodvibes

I booked 1-bedroom for our Jan. 6- 11, 2008, trip at our 7 month window on June 11. We booked the BCV and wait-listed for BWV-BW view. Our wait list came through 2 months before our trip.

So I think you have a great chance of getting your 1-bedroom! No experience with trying to book studios at the EPCOT resorts, though.

Good luck!

I called today and had no problem getting a 2 bedroom lock-off and a studio at BCV - WE ARE PSYCHED!

She said the rest of the week looks pretty good except for Friday - but, we'll cross that bridge when we get to it.

Thanks to all of you who took the time to ease my mind - what is it about calling Disney that makes us each feel like it's the day before Christmas and we just want to know what our gifts are already?!

Yeah! I'm glad. So you did change your mind and went with the 2 bedroom, 1 studio. I wonder if the Friday is the start of the Marathon, and that's why it's questionable. Here's hoping it all works out!

Yes, they had the lockout - now I have to decide if I want the boys next to us or the girls...

We are treating our employees (mostly teens and early twenties) as well as our sons and their friends. One room will be all girls. The other all boys.

I think I'll prefer the girls - we'll see. As long as I can lock the door in between the rooms and they can come and go without going through our living room, I'm a happy girl. :goodvibes

Yes, the marathon seems to be the weekend issue. The MS CM told me to make sure I'm the first one to call that day. So, I will be. :)

I think I would prefer the girls next to me, too! It sounds like a very nice thing to do for your employees and friends.

Bobbi:)
