7 month window and weekends ??

Because of the higher weekend point totals, are weekends relatively easy to book at the 7 month window ? Basically I have an excess of OKW pts and not enough BCV and VWL pts. When I did the two add-ons, my plan was to purchase just enough so that with banking/borrowing I could book my week at 11 months 2-out-of-3 years. Now I'm thinking I should book the weekend with OKW pts & the weekdays with BCV/VWL points,then at 7 months rebook the weekend. How do-able does this sound ?

PS: BCV trip will always be during F&W festival, VWL will always be 1st or 2nd week in Dec.

Getting Fri or Sat nights at WDW DVC resorts is usually much easier at 7 months than weekdays. Nevertheless, both times you mention are very high DVC times and and even weekends may be difficult at 7 months out.

That might work.... BUT I am on the wait list for OKW for a Saturday night in early December...... but then again I just went on the list a couple of weeks ago........ I know if you were planning it the otherway around, wanting OKW at the 7 month window you would have a good shot......

Give it a whrill...... I have heard a lot of wait list successes...... And I even got one of the two bedrooms I need for this December!

I booked a 1BR at BWV in Aug for the first weekend in Dec and then switched it to OKW for the larger room, MIL is coming... Point is I made both ressies in mid Aug for Fr and Sat and no waitlist. Also made the ressies for this past weekend at the same time for FW and had no probs. I did book OKW straight out but waitlisted to move closer at BWV then to BCV.
