7 month success at BW gardenview

We were successful getting in getting a 2BR at Boardwalk at the 7 month window next June! It's our first time trying to get a 7 month reservation (we own at VGC and AKL), so we're excited!

They only had Garden view left; of course, std views were gone, as were Boardwalk views. But, no problems getting the garden view.

We're happy with any view. What are others' experiences with the garden view?

Sorry to jump onto your thread but Tomorrow is our 7 month mark and we are going to try to get two 2 bedrooms at boardwalk. Did they mention if they still had plenty of 2 bedrooms left??

Congratulations on your reservation! Water/Garden views can be of the main pool, the quiet pool, the lawn bowling courts or a few are near the boardwalk. I think that area is called the village green area? Someone here will know.

We like the quiet pool view, which also looks out at the Community Hall, the canal and Tower of Terror at DHS. Just a really nice, quiet area and the view was nice as well.

We did not ask how many 2BR were available. I wasn't surprised that the std view was gone, since it goes for fewer points.

I was a little disappointed that the Boardwalk view was gone, since it costs the most points. But, I guess that's part of the reason people stay there, is for that view.

Does anyone know the breakdown on the number of different views and the number of rooms in each?

Congrats! It is actually my favorite view. We had a gorgeous view of the river between BWV and the Swan/Dolphin. It was absolutely amazing! If you look at my trip report from May 2010 in my signature there are some pictures of the view.

Since Boardwalk view is the same number of points, why not wait list for it, if you already don't have 2 wait lists in the UY?

We did!! We got one 2 bedroom and 4 studios all prefered view. They only had prefered left. I was just happy that everyone got a room at the Boardwalk though.
