7 month ressie window ?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but we are new DVC members. I will be booking a stay at SSR in Oct for June of 09. I know I can make my ressie 7months from my check IN date, but can I only reserve 7 nights as a max? I need to reserve 10 nights total. Should I wait the 3 extra days and then book all 10 or call back after 3 days and book the last 3? Thanks for any help. Will I be likely to get all 10 nights without too much of a problem? I am looking for a studio. Thanks!

SSR is a very large resort. Good news - You do not have to worry about getting a reservation at 7 months for a June vacation.

IMHO, you can wait the 3 extra days and then just make one call - no problem. Of course, you can certainly book the first 7 and then call back every day to add a day, or you can book the first 7 and call back after three days to book the last three days. It's up to you and how many calls you want to make.

Any way you do it, you won't have a problem getting SSR at 7 months for a June vacation.
