7 month pixie dust for me!!!

We are not planners and usually are always booking trips within 4-6 months of arrival at DVC. However, we FINALLY planned ahead and I was able to book at the 7 month window this week for our Jan 2012 trip. I was shocked when I got EXACTLY what I wanted. BLT LV Studio for 4 nights and then a BW Standard 1bdrm for then next 5 nights, and was even able to add on 1 more night at BLT on the front end! I am giddy at the idea of not really having to take buses except to AKV for this trip. My DD4 and DS2 still use strollers and not having to worry about that makes this Momma happy!!! We have never stayed at BLT either, so we are really excited since we spend TONS of time there with 2 small kiddos!
Now to wait until we can book Dining and plane tickets...

Congrats on your reservations, sounds like you are going to have an awesome time . Today is our 7 month mark (eventhough my ticker says otherwise, we are going on a non Disney cruise before hand that the kids don't know about ). I am suppose to be calling today to see if I can switch my BLT reservation to BWV (want a BW view), but now that my ILs are coming along with us, we will have to buy more points (the up to 25 points thing, sorry forget what it is called) so that they can get a studio too, and of course my DH gets paid on Friday so I have to wait for that. Crossing my fingers that there will be availability. If there isn't, then we plan on going back to BCV for the 4 nights

Congrats, enjoy your trip back home. I'm hoping for some of that pixie dust for our April '12 trip. Have a 1 BR BW View booked, but want to move that to a 1 BR BLT (Lake or MK view.) Still have to wait a while...

PS - I see that you are from Spokane. My husband is originally from Cheney - his parents still live there, so we head your direction every now and then.

That's so awesome!!! You will love being at BLT with 2 little ones! Being able to walk to MK is the best!!! I only stayed at BLT once and I loved it!

I've found that January is one of the easier times to book. We were able to make a reservation at BCV in January 2010 at about 6 months out.

That's awesome you were able to get everything you wanted with no waitlists! It's definitely the best feeling. Hopefully the next 7 months go by quickly for you.
