7 month calculation question

Howdy everyone! We are wanting to rent points and I'm wondering what the exact date that an owner could make a reservation at a non-home resort if we want 9/17 through 9/23.

Bonus question. If we get that reservation, what date could we start making dining reservations?

I'm so excited for this trip. We've never rented DVC points before and I'm giddy about the possibility!

It is a good idea to establish yourself with the owner prior to that date so you are ready to go and they can make your reservation first thing, especially if it is a hard to get reservation. Have a second choice (third isn't a bad idea). Be ready to make a commitment as reservations can go in a second (not an exaggeration).

Renting involves trust from both parties and getting to know each other just takes the stress out of the situation. I equate it to a first date. Building that trust for now and the future may be priceless!

7-month window is based on the same calendar day of the month, 7 months away. February 17. This holds true except for January 31 and September 29-30.

Dining reservations are 60 days from your 1st reservation day. You can book your first 10 days of your vacation then.
