7 hour wait for Anna & Elsa?!?!?!

I remember waiting 2 and 1/2 hours one night when the fairies were brand new. I swore I'd never wait that long, but my youngest (I think she was 4 that trip) begged and begged and said it was the only thing that mattered to her the whole trip. I understand all the logical arguments, but that's a hard request to ignore.

We waited all day hoping the lines would get shorter. They never did. So after dinner on our last MK night the two of us got in line (my at the time 7 year old daughter opted to skip the fairies and ride rides with dad). We stuck it out - even though she had to go to the bathroom SO BAD by the end and they wouldn't let us leave and come back to our spot in line). But, we met the fairies. And she was SO happy and it was so worth it and I wouldn't trade it for the world.

yes, it took about 3 hours away from my experience. But what it added to HER experience was priceless, and her experience was just as important - if not more so - than mine.

7 hours is a TOUGH pill to swallow. But since you're allowed to have one person wait, and you can trade off, I would do it. If one of my girls said it meant THAT much to her, I would do it. 7 hours is long - but if you're spending $5k on a vacation for 4 people, then each person's wishes are equally important in my mind. I'm just happy neither of mine cared enough this past December to want to wait that long!

I believe I read that Frozen recently became the highest-grossing animated feature ever. That means many, many people want to see them on perhaps their only trip there in the next 5, 10, or 20 years.

I am also baffled by waiting for anything longer than say, 120 minutes, but that's a personal tolerance. Remember there are occasionally 5 hour waits for Soarin' and TT during Christmas week. All of that is beyond my patience (and I think I have a boatload of patience), but I understand that others are willing to wait even more--or less.

And they are most definitely doubling the capacity at PFH, otherwise there would almost be no point in moving them.

Yes I heard the same thing about it being the highest grossing animated feature and before that it was Toy Story that was the highest I believe.

I never take holidays into consideration.. I am just lucky enough where I can go during a "slow" week of the year, not many of those weeks really exist these days lol. But I often forget just how high the wait times get for headliners like Soarin and TT during those times. I was actually looking at wait times on my app the other day and I couldn't believe how long the lines were... because I never go at a very busy time, I just found it exhausting just looking at the app wait times and I wasn't even there to endure them!

Disney takes theming and atmosphere extremely seriously. Therefore, you will probably not find them slapping up multiple locations quickly, even if they recognize the problem immediately. Things take time.

I fully understand about disney and their theming. That's why keeping them at Norway because they themed this area already or putting them in the character meal in Norway and also having the location at MK would all work.
The disappointment is with our family that does not know if and when we will be back to WDW and only have the money to stay a few days. For families that have been before, they may not mind missing things because they will be back.

I understand. I will just restate my last sentence: things take time.

Good luck!

You can never do everything Disney has to offer in only a few days. You just have to pick what is most important to you and what offers YOU the most perceived value.
