7 for 4 major help needed

I had an awful time figuring this out I called and was told I had to have the special offer in mail to get this discount and could not apply for the card with offer- can anyone verify if I applied at bank ones web site if I will be able to get this offer. I just applied now. How soon will I hear and what number do you verify with? Is there anyone who did use the web site to apply and did get the discount when they called CRO I hope this works I will be so upset if it does not. Any info would make me feel better no one on the phone after 5 different numbers could help me!!
I read on another thread many people got it I hope I applied at the right place- thanks for the help!

First off, you DO NOT need the special mailing to qualify for the 7 for 4 deal. I never received one and I booked the deal as a new card holder in Feb. Once you receive the card you can book the deal through WDTC at 1-800-828-0228. Ask them to call Bank One to verify that you are eligible for the deal. You do not need a code. Ask them nicely to call Bank One. It's for all new card holders who appy from 2/5 through the end of March. You must book by 4/30.

I knew within two days if I was approved. Call 1-800-300-8575 and it will ask for your ss# and it will tell you the status. Once you are approved wait for a rep and ask them to send your card by UPS and you should have it within a couple days.

I do not think it matters if you apply online or over the phone. I believe that I have read that people do both qualified for the deal.

I just applied for the card over the phone on 2/25 and just received my card today 3/6. I called Bank One and asked if I qualified for the 7 for 4 offer and they said yes. I called my TA and had her make my new arrangements. We were unable to get our original resort, POR, because they did not have any King Bed rooms left on the deal there, but we were able to book POFQ. I am going with my DH and it is only costing us $1211.82. Which is a savings of $200 over our original ressie. (We had 2 ressies one 4 day with UPH and one 2 day room only.) We're going 9/5 - 9/12 now.

Just to let you know though, my TA says that she has a client who received her card in February who is not elgible for the offer for some reason.

Do you know when in Feb she applied? There is a specific date that the application has to be after. Bank One told me between 2/5 and 3/31.

No I don't know when she applied. From what you are saying I am guessing before 2/5. I will let my TA know so she can let her other client in on that. Thanks.

The 7 for 4 deal comes with the ultimate park hopper tickets. I was able to get the deal also. We go in August.

I think I got this skinny on this . Just call Bank One as soon as you are approved and ask if you are eligible for the 7 for 4 deal. I don't know if anyone has actually been told they are not eligible for this deal??? If they say you are get that card 2nd day rushed to you!!! No charge for this and WELL WORTH IT. It took me 6 long, agonizing days to get it after I was approved . Of course, I'm really not a patient person either. After you get your card either call WDW and book your deal (have DV handy, they have to call Bank One) or have your agent take care of it immediately. I found out through WDW rooms ARE LIMITED for this offer . I didn't get the offer at the resort I wanted since the room type was gone . Also, you must stay at one resort the entire time to take advantage of this offer. This is not normally an issue with people, but I had split up our trip between two resorts since we couldn't make up our minds. We are going to have to pay rack rate or stick with one place. I'm still deciding. The discount is on the standard Drm Maker Pkg and is only good in conjunction with the Silver Add On. BUT the Silver plan additional ($68 per adult/$35 per child) price is NOT discounted. You can't mix the 7 for 4 deal with Gold or Platinum add ons...too bad, huh ?

I highly recommend getting a TA if you do not have one already. I just had an agency take my ressies over since I think WDW was overlapping my ressies and I was paying twice for UPH tickets that were included in the Package, which she is going to take care of to save some $$$. She even recommended the lower package since I wasn't going to use a lot of the features (just a few that I can pay myself or use wishes for and still be ahead). This save a ton of $$$$ . I mean, I was floored to have someone talk me out of high priced package...WDW didn't offer to discuss what I was looking for, just that my package was an awesome package ? I assumed I had the best deal...WRONG. Needless to say, after a 10 minute chat with Denise I had a wealth of information and felt extremely comfortable with her that I had requested paperwork to allow her take my ressies over immediately. I chose Magical Travel since I like to talk to someone as well as communicate through e-mail. But there are quite a few agencies that come highly recommended by Disers - Dreams Unlimited, Small World Vacations and one other that I can't think of their name, but I'm sure others out there will fill you in. You can also check out www.shopthemouse.com and they list specialist agencies along with some facts (phone, email only, discounts available, etc.). That's where I found Magical Travel. Some agencies give little "rewards" for booking with them. Good luck bargain hunting and I hope all turns out great for you !!!!
