i may be overreacting but to wait 1hour it so for a ride that lasts maybe 1 minute and is not that fast is not worth it. Guess I was expecting more.

Wait is not a good measure of "worth". That said, there are plenty who agree with you.

You're totally wrong.

I heard it's 2 minutes. ;)

That said, I thought it was cute and am glad we did it. But no, we didn't wait an hour. Thankfully.

t's definitely not a thrill ride. Whether it's "worth it" totally depends on what you're looking for in a ride.

It's cute. I just wish it were longer. I will still FP it once if I can, but won't wait in long lines. The people in our group who were scared of the big coasters really liked it though - but we didn't do standby.

I had read so much negativity on the DIS about this ride before our trip last week that I wasn't expecting much at all out of it. I was very pleasantly surprised. We had fp's so were able to walk right on it after our dinner at BOG. We were very impressed with how smooth the ride was and loved it! We also got off just as Wishes was starting so that was pretty awesome.

Would I wait in line for an hour to ride it. Heck no. But I wouldn't wait that long for any ride at WDW. Which is why I never did get to ride Peter Pan.

The attraction was never intended to be a thrill ride.....it is as intended a family coaster. The whole package is well worth the wait. The theming is excellent, the ride fun as intended , the auto animatronics tops. At night the attraction is especially great.

True , it is a bit short as where it was built is a tight fit. The time was more a problem of the changes made over and over and the fact is was built in the middle of the NFL.

We have it on the top of our list for April.

Agree that it's not a thrill ride. WDW is not a thrill ride park. Thought it was a cute coaster that the whole family can enjoy, much like BTMRR but smoother. It's nice to have something that's a little fast but not too scary for those who don't like steep drops or loops. It was definitely too short and we would not have liked it as much if we waited an hour for it. FP+ or just before closing is the way to go!

Definitely not worth waiting more than maybe 20 minutes to 1/2 hour for. Though there really aren't many rides anywhere that are. Wouldn't waste a fastpass on it either.

Honestly, I agree re: waiting in a long standby line for it. We've done it many times with FPs, and once we jumped in line when it said 30 minutes but it ended up really being 60. We agreed we would never wait that long again, it just wasn't worth it to us. We do like it a lot, but not enough to wait in long standby lines for it. There are a few rides I would wait that long for, but 7DMT is not one.

That said I definitely see why people would happily wait standby if they can't get a FP, or don't know to try to, because it really is adorable. We never expected it to be a thrill ride but we were very happy with it after our first ride. We're not huge coaster people so it's a pleasant "baby coaster" for us haha!

While I appreciate the artistry & detail of 7DMT, I wouldn't wait more than 25 minutes for it, or any other attraction at WDW. But I've enjoyed most attractions many times over the years, and I will be returning sooner rather than later. I might view it differently if I were on a "once-in-a-lifetime" trip. :earsboy:

The wait doesn't have to be that long. We waited just 10 minutes right after Wishes a few weeks ago.

Our longest wait without FP+ was 20 minutes on opening week in 2014. That was at about 11:30 pm.

You just have to know when the line is short.

My family won't ride it without a FP because we do not feel it is worthy of the long lines either. That said we have also never understood why Peter Pan is always such a long wait. We usually just skip Peter because of that.

I think it depends on your party. I wouldn't wait that long with just my husband, but my 4 year old thought it was the best ride ever!

I agree with previous posters who claim nothing at Disney is worth waiting an hour for (especially when you can ride anything you want with minimal wait with proper planning and FP+).

That having been said, 7DMT is a great ride for families and others who like family rides. My wife and I love coasters and thrill parks--the taller, bigger, and faster, the better. 7DMT is NOT that. But riding on it over and over this past trip with my 6 and 4 year old children (who LOVED it) was a priceless experience.
