We have purchased 5-day hoppers. We'll actually be in California for 7 days. Does anyone know if you can add a day or 2 at a cheap price? We don't really want 7 full days in the parks or anything. But if it would be cheap to add some days, we'd maybe go on a ride or two in the evening or something.

Anyone know if that's possible or if we'd have to get a 2-day hopper in addition to our 5-day?

You'd have to either upgrade to an AP or buy a 2 day pass :( if you want to upgrade, I'd do it at the beginning if your trip to utilize the AP discounts.

Unfortunately Disney discontinued the 6 and 7 day passes, so, yes, the only ways to get 7 days would be to buy a 2-day pass in addition to your 5-day pass or to upgrade your 5-day pass to an annual pass.

Ah. Thanks all. That wouldn't be worth it for the price at all since we'd only be in the parks briefly those extra days and we won't be back for a few years. Not to mention the price of a 2-day hopper is ridiculous.

You can still have fun for a few hours on your extra days in DtD. Given your son's age, he might really enjoy spending time in the Lego store (there is a little play car area outside the front of the store) or taking time to look at all the things in WOD. There is a small TV area for little ones in the GCH lobby and there is an Autopia car in the DLH by GK. Depending on your dates, you might be able to watch fireworks from DtD (there are several nice viewing spots) or the Esplanade. So you wouldn't have to buy a 2 day hopper just to do a few fun Disney things on your extra days.

You could always get a two day non-hopper and spread its use out over your stay. I could see an entire day in DL.

Even a 2-day non-hopper is more than we'd want to spend. We definitely plan to wander downtown Disney and the hotels a bit though.

On our two non-park days we have other things we're doing but we might have a little spare time. Not enough to pay for full priced tickets though.
