Hi there, we just got back from WDW and I have to tell you, I am still full!

The Cast:
Me- 25 very picky eater but willing to try some new things.
Mary (Mom)- 54 Will eat anything.
Brandon (brother)- 10 just like me, very picky but he won't try new things.

Day 1

Liberty Tree Tavern @ Magic Kingdom
We kicked off our trip 9/22 by having the character dinner at LTT. We have enjoyed this before so we decided to go back. The fare is served family style (which we like). They started us off with a salad tossed in a strawberry vinagarette and dinner rolls with honey butter. Brandon and I dug right in to the dinner rolls they were fabulous. The salad I didn't like so much because I am not a fan of vinagarette but Mary enjoyed that. Next came the main course. A good sized plate of Turkey, Beef, Pork and stuffing was followed by a bowl of mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese and fresh green beans. We ate everything that was set in front of us (It might have been because we hadn't eaten since 5:30am) but it was all very good. The characters came out to greet us and it was Minnie, Goofy, Chip and Dale and Pluto. Brandon really enjoyed meeting the characters and they were really nice so it was a great dinner. After the characters came by our waiter brought out our dessert which was also served family style and it was Apple Cobbler a la mode. It was scrumptious! So in all LTT was great as usual and it costed us 3 TS credits.

Day 2

Lunch-Wolfgang Puck Express DTD
For lunch we headed off to DTD. We are huge fans of Wolfgang Puck Express. I ordered the 4 Cheese Pizza and a chocolate chip cookie. Brandon ordered Chicken Tenders with Fries and a Creme Brulee. Mary ordered the Roast Beef and Cheddar Sandwich with Potato Chips and a Creme Brulee for dessert. We have a Wolfgang Puck Express here at home so we are kind of spoiled. But It was all very good and we will definitely be going back next year! The only thing I didn't care for, was my pizza. I ordered the 4 cheese pizza and it came with tomato slices and other things on there that I didn't want nor did I notice it came with that. I am a plain Jane so I was expecting a plain cheese pizza. Other than that, it was a great meal. This meal costed us 3 CS credits.

Dinner-Le Cellier @ the Canada Pavillion in EPCOT
Le Cellier is one restaurant that we will always go back to. It has wonderful food and the staff is usually curtious and attentive. Our ressie was at 6:10 and we were not seated until 6:45. We were not happy about the long wait. I ordered the Cheese Soup for my appetizer which is always wonderful. For my entree I ordered the Filet Mignon it came with cream cheese mashed potatoes. For dessert I ordered the chocolate on chocolate wiskey cake. I ate almost everything on my plate it was really good. Mary ordered the Caesar Salad for an appetizer and the Mushroom Filet Mignon with mushroom risotto for and entree and for dessert she ordered the chocolate on chocolate wiskey cake. Brandon ordered the cheese soup for an appetizer and the Filet mignon with cream cheese potatoes for an entree and the Smores for dessert. This is Brandon after eating his Smores:

I think you could say he enjoyed every bite of his dessert. This was a great meal and we will definitely be going back next year as this is one of our favorites. This meal costed 3 TS credits.

Days 3 & 4 to come....................

Great start, looking forward to the next installment.

Day 3

Lunch- Lottawatta Lodge @ Blizzard Beach
I was pleasantly surprised by our lunch at Lottawatta Lodge. I ordered the Cheeseburger and Fries, Brandon ordered the Cheeseburger and Fries and Mary ordered the Chicken Wrap and Chips. For dessert we all ordered the Tollhouse Ice Cream Cookie Sandwichs. Everything was excellent. I tried some of the Chicken Wrap and it was out of this world. It had shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. I wished I would have ordered that! The cheeseburger was standard but I still liked it. The only thing I didn't like were geese and birds swooping down hoping to get a bite. At one time it felt like revenge of the birds. But in all, I hope to get back there next year! This meal costed us 3 CS credits.

Dinner- Coral Reef
This was our first time eating at Coral Reef and it was very beautiful. Our ressie was at around 6pm and we had to wait for about a half hour as they were behind. We were seated and we had a nice view of the aquarium. It was very beautiful. We were started off with a bread basket and I have to tell you, it was some of the best bread I had ever eaten. This is Brandon eating most of our bread:
Disney20070231.jpg

I ordered the Caesar Salad for an appetizer and the New York Strip Steak with Au Gratin potatoes and broccolini for my entree. I chose the coconut freeze for my beverage and it was awesome! For dessert I ordered the chocolate wave. Brandon ordered the Surf and Turf minus the surf for his appetizer and the baked chicken with rice for his entree and the butterscoth creme brulee for dessert. Mary ordered the mixed greens salad for her appetizer and the New York Strip steak with Au Gratin potatoes and broccolini for her entree. For dessert, she ordered the chocolate wave.

The entire time at dinner Brandon kept raving about his entree saying it was so good. I thought my dinner was wonderful. The New York Strip was a huge piece of steak. I ate about 3/4 of it. My dessert was spectacular, it wasn't too rich nor was it plain. This ended up being Mary's favorite dinner. We were not dissappointed at all but going into this dinner, I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant and was a little skeptical. But it exceeded my expectations and I hope to go back someday.

Day 4

Breakfast- Donald's Breakfastosaurus @ Animal Kingdom
Our ressie was set for 10am and we were seated close to if not at 10am on the nose. The breakfast consisted of typical American breakfast fare served buffet style. Eggs, pancakes, meats, assorted pastries, french toast, fruits, etc. The character interaction was wonderful, Mickey, Donald, Pluto and Goofy all came to greet us. The characters were dressed like they were on a safari it was really cute. Most people pay out of pocket for this meal, but we chose to use our table service credits for this and wouldn't change that. I enjoyed this meal the most out of all of our meals and I will be going back next September!

Dinner- Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe @ Magic Kingdom
I had the Bacon cheeseburger and the carrot cake. Brandon had the 1/2 chicken and ribs with mashed potatoes and carrots and the triple chocolate cake for dessert. Mary had the bacon cheeseburger and carrot cake for dessert. Our burgers were typical, nothing too fancy about them except Mary was really happy they had a toppings bar with all sorts of items to pile on your burger. Brandon's chicken and ribs plate was humongous. It really was big enough to feed all 3 of us. he enjoyed every bite. By the time he was done, he had bbq sauce all over his face. It was really cute. Both Mary and I thought that the carrot cake was the best that we had ever tasted. I would definitely return. This meal costed us 3 CS credits.

Days 5, 6 & 7 to come..................................

Lunch-Cheesecake Facory Express @ DisneyQuest
We headed to Downtown Disney and decided to pop into Cheesecake Factory Express. We had read quite a few good reviews on this place. Mary and I ordered the Chicken Fajita Wrap with some sort of cake/browine type thing for dessert. Brandon ordered the Chicken Tenders with fries and a brownie for dessert. We all ordered bottled Powerade for our beverages. Neither Mary or myself was pleased with the fajita wrap. I thought it was down right inedible and threw it in the trash. Mary ate half of hers and threw the rest in the trash. I'm not sure what they put in it, but it was not good. Brandon enjoyed his chicken tenders he said that they were "the best chicken fingers I've ever had!" He didn't much care for the brownie. It had some sort of strange crust on it that we couldn't figure out what it was. So this was probably the only bad meal on our trip. This meal costed 3 CS credits.

*BONUS*
Snack- Goofy's Candy Company - DTD
Brandon and I used a snack credit and made our very own concoctions at Goofy's. It was a lot of fun to watch our creations come to life! I will definitely be heading back next year.
This is Brandon's creation:

Disney20070161.jpg

It's a large Oreo cookie dipped in white chocolate with sprinkles, butterfinger pieces, m & m's and drizzled in chocolate.

This is my creation:
Disney20070361.jpg

It's 3 pretzel rods dipped in white chocolate. The 1st rod is rolled in pecans, 2nd is rolled in Butterfinger and the 3rd is rolled in Reese's Peanut Butter Cups and all 3 are drizzled with caramel. This snack costed 2 snack credits and it was well worth the fun!

Dinner- 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM
We have been to 50's before and think it's a riot. We had a great server named "Uncle Lance", he jumped right into the role and made our day! Brandon would purposely put his elbows on the table and Uncle Lance would threaten him by telling Brandon that he would make him sing a song to the ladies at the table next to us. Brandon turned red in the face a couple times it was really cute. I ordered the fried cheese for my appetizer and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and greens for my entree a vanilla malt for my beverage and the browine sundae for my dessert. Brandon ordered the onion rings for his appetizer, pot roast with mashed potatoes, carrots and celery for his entree, a root beer float for his beverage and the smores for dessert. Mary ordered the caesar salad for her appetizer, the top sirloin steak with mashed potatoes, a vanilla malt for her beverage and the apple cobler a la mode for her dessert.

This is Brandon in the "Living Room" while we were waiting to be seated.
Disney20070401.jpg

Let me start with the appetizers, they are all large enough to share so we all had bits and pieces of one anothers appetizer. I absolutely love the fried cheese I have no idea what's in it, but I think that it's maybe a cream cheese anyway, you spread it on toasted french bread yummy it is wonderful. The onion rings are really good. They are not like the ones you get at burger king or anything and the caesar salad was delish! Our entrees came next and mine was very good. It tasted like home cooked chicken (not the kfc stuff.) I did however ask to have a different veggie because I have no idea what greens are nor did want to try them. Uncle Lance didn't like that idea and told me he would bring me another veggie if I tried the greens. Well as picky as I am, I refused to try the greens. They looked and smelled aweful so there was no way I was going to attempt to taste them. I had my mom try them for me and she thought they were ok but backed me up and said that there was no way I would like them. Needless to say, I never got my other veggies. Brandon loved his pot roast. I had ordered that last year and he tried it and vowed to get it this time when we went back. Mary enjoyed her steak and thought it was prepared perfectly. She is really picky when it comes to the doneness of her steak. The only downfall that I have with this restaurant, is that the portion sizes are too big. I wasted quite a bit of my dinner, it looked like I had only picked at it when I was sooo full and Brandon had even eaten some of my chicken. Our desserts were wonderful. Brandon ate his smore and half of my brownie sundae. Mary finished her whole bowl of apple cobbler. I felt like a roly poly person by the time we left but it was well worth it! This meal costed us 3 TS credits.

Days 6 & 7 coming soon...................................................

Lunch- Pinocchio Village Haus @ Magic Kingdom
We started our day out early at MK and decided to try Pinocchio's. We had never been there before so we didn't know what to expect. The restaurant was very cute it fits in Fantasyland perfectly and if you wanted, you could even choose a window seat that over looks It's a Small World. Well this time around, I chose not to eat my lunch viewing It's a Small World (earlier in the week, we had been stuck on that ride for over 15 min and that song almost made me loose my mind but on the bright side, at least it wasn't longer. :scared1: ) the thought of that ride made my stomach uneasy  and I really wanted to enjoy my lunch. Any hoo on with the review. Like any other counter service you walk up and place your order with a CM standing at a podium. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza Combo which came with a small salad, a large lemonade for my beverage and a Cannoli for dessert. Brandon ordered the Chicken Strips with Fries, a large lemonade for his beverage and Triple Chocolate cake for his dessert. Mary ordered the Veggie Pizza combo which also came with a small salad, a bottle of water for her beverage and the Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. The salads didn't come with a choice of dressing they just put one on our tray and it was fat free ranch (I was really happy about that). I wasn't too thrilled with that idea of not choosing your dressing, even though I really like FF Ranch.

I really enjoyed my pizza and salad. The pizza was cooked perfectly and the salad was small but enough to get in some veggies for the day. It was a nice change of pace. My Cannoli was probably one of THE BEST desserts I had eaten on my whole trip. I am going back there next year just to get the Cannoli it was that good! I recommend it to everyone! It was a light pastry filled with cream and the ends of it were rolled in chocolate chips. Yummy! Mary enjoyed her pizza and salad as well. The veggie pizza had mushrooms, black olives and red and green peppers. She didn't much care for the strawberry shortcake but she did prefer my cannoli (see I'm telling you guys it's the best!). Brandon ate every bit of his chicken and fries. There wasn't anything special about that it was typical. He ate some of his chocolate cake, he didn't really comment on it so I'm not sure how it was. In all, this was a good meal and I would definitely go back. This meal costed 3 CS credits.

Dinner- Whispering Canyon Cafe @ Wilderness Lodge
This has to be one of the eeriest resorts to me because it looks like I am at home. I live in Minnesota and boy, when I stepped off of the boat on to the dock it was like I never left home (I didn't really like that idea being that I love Disney!). The restaurant is located inside the lobby and can be a bit noisy at times. The waitress started our "experience" off with our drink order. Brandon ordered the bottomless milkshake, Mary ordered the strawberry/orange smoothie and a diet coke, I ordered a large lemonade. When the waitress brought our drink order, she threw like 20+ straws on our table, Brandon thought it was kind of funny:
Disney20070461.jpg

Then this came........
Disney20074081.jpg

Now I have been used to saying large when I order my drinks but boy was I not expecting that! Now that's what I call a LARGE lemonade.

We went on to order our meals. We started out with the appetizers, Mary ordered the Chips and Salsa and Brandon and I chose the skillet, so we didn't get to choose an appetizer we were brought a salad that was included with our skillet:
Disney20070482.jpg

The chips and salsa were awesome. I didn't really care for the salad. It was tossed in a vinigarette that I didn't like. Mary ordered the Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and veggies for her entree. Our skillet came with Ribs, pulled pork, chicken, baked beans, mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and probably the best cornbread I have ever tasted. The skillet is refillable if you want but we didn't even eat half of ours combined.

For dessert I ordered the s'mores cheesecake:
Disney20070501.jpg

Brandon ordered the Kahlua-flavored chocolate cake:
Disney20070511.jpg

Mary ordered the Cinnamon Tortilla:
Disney20070521.jpg

My cheesecake was great I really liked it. Mary loved her tortilla thingy she ate every bite. Brandon ate half of his cake he said he liked it a lot. I tried it and didn't care for it. I am not much of a drinker, but I think it had a little bit too much Kahlua in it.

The entertainment during dinner was hilarious. At one point, it was this mans like 40 something birthday and they had him ride around the restaurant on a stick pony. Anytime someone needed ketchup the waiter/ess would scream at the top of their lungs KEEEETTTTCCCHHHUUUPP. Whom ever had ketchup on their table had to march it on over to the table that needed it. Same thing happened when a little one asked for a crayon they yelled out and one person from each table had to march a crayon over to that table. It was really cute. Brandon got into the scene and he wants to go back next year! We really enjoyed this meal. This meal costed 3 TS credits.

Day 7 our final day to come.............................
